watch you crawl

your despair
follow the lure
to your future

unhappiness
disappointment and despair

forever in this weak

walking up to a door
knowing that one step more
is a step you can't take
so all you do is wait
as if they will open the door

from the inside it's locked
you know you can't knock
you can't just wait
and you can't hate
that you know the truth
reality—your youth
but youth wont help you heal
from this that you feel
you must let it go
and turn back from the door

believe in the lie
you never could've tried
you only would've died
and walking away
