All the times they tugged the line,
It was a fluke that I thought we were fine,
Between these feudal friends of mine,
Recently something has come to mind,
It's hard to sway,
To sway that way,
To agree with everything that they say,
It's a shame that we must behave this way,
but it's something you can't argue with.
Because all it does is hurt in the end
I lost a friend
To a stupid war
What was it about?
What happened before this crap,
Something better,
I know that's true,
But what happened,
That caused her to rue,
The day they met? The day they spoke?
All I can remember are the flames that they evoked,
It's like making the mistake
Again and again
It's beginning to rake
Over my heart again
It's like a grain of sand
Becoming a gorgeous pearl
This problem is evolving
Cuz you hate that girl
I have to say.
I'ts hard to sway.
To sway that way,
To agree with everything they want to say,
It's a shame that we have to act that way,
All you want to do is sleep the pain away.
Fresh starts and all.
Still a schism apparent,
And both my friends have their hearts transparent,
She hates her,
She hates HER
SHE HATES HER
Now she loves her,
But she still hates her,
And they love and hate eachother more than they can bear,
So to fix it all,
I’ll take a little pill,
And just chill for a while,
Asleep in the memories of what we used to have.
Cuz though it’s faint,
I know it’s there,
The memories of the good times that we used to share,
And they don’t believe me,
But I know they care,
They are just too blinded
To know it’s there.
I have to say.
