I had a dream last night...
I woke up and looked around in the dark, and I heard this odd crackling sound coming from underneath the bedroom floor boards. My lamp wouldn't work, so I tried to turn on my flashlight, but the battery died and the light flickered out. So I walked out of my room in the dark. I saw this odd luminescence coming from downstairs, and I felt like the hall was heating up.
I laughed and said "Good try... but it's going to take more than that!" and I walked down the stairs normally thinking it was Kyle playing a trick on me by setting a fire to a barrel or something downstairs. But when I rounded the corner to the living room, and there was this enormous ball of fire there. I couldn't look at it, but I was frozen to place.
The fire dimmed, and instead stood this guy with flaming red hair... I guess we all know who I'm talking about.
He sat down on the couch and said "So, you have trouble believing in me now?"
I just shook my head and closed my eyes, and I kept repeating "dream, dream, this is just a dream."
He just raised his eyebrows and laughed at me, "Wow, you're sure persistant!"
Then I heard another voice, and there was Gabriel with his arms crossed behind me, "You said you believed in me, so why do you keep chanting dream, dream, dream, Skye?"
I fell against a table because I was freaked out, and I hurt my elbow and was bleeding. I heard another sound behind me and there was this guy with blonde hair and he was kneeling down, looking over me with a smirk on his face, "Hiya."
He took out a knife and held it against my throat and said, "Dreams can't hurt you, right?"
And he suddenly stabbed through a piece of extra fabric of my shirt on the ground, "Then I didn't just ruin your shirt, right?"
Gabriel then pulled the guy up and shoved him away, brushed his shirt off and glared, "What is the matter with you? We came here to prove to him that we exist, and you go acting like a psychopathic moron."
The guy scoffed and put his shoe on my ankle and did this twist and it made me cry out.
I don't know what happened then, but I just clamped my eyes closed and kept saying "Leave me alone!!" and I heard the guy shout out a lot of profanity and some dragging sounds.
When I opened my eyes again, I saw many faces, but Gabriel's looked solemn and he shook his head, "Too much at once... I apologize. Here, I'll help you up and you can go back to bed, alright?"
He and this other guy both lifted me up and helped me to my room. The guy bowed for a moment and Gabriel smiled and said, "Just don't be so quick to judge next time who is real and who's not, alright? That's all we ask. We don't ask that of you. Good night."
I woke up in reality, with a bruise on my ankle and my arm scabbed over, and a rip in my shirt...
I went downstairs, and the table I fell against in my dream was pushed haphazardly in the living room.
.... I'm rather freaked out about that dream....
....
