Hey
hey my name is John, I am 18 and I live in Pennsylvania. I am a nice and pretty cool kid. I like to mountian bike, ride my mini bike, listen to music, and work with computers, I'm currently building a computer. If you want to chat send me a pm
hey I just got finished building my computer, after a years worth of research, dessisions, and designing, and I probably never would have finished it if it wasn't for my friend tj, here are pictures of it. (couldn't resize them, but bigger is better, lol) it took about 4 hours to build this thing, and another 6 to program. This computer runs games, programs, etc. like it is nothing.

Specs:

Motherboard: ASUS gaming motherboard (an amazing board, so good with overclocking, and excellent for upgrading, upgradeable to 16gigs of RAM, OMG!)
Processor: Intel Pentium D Gaming version with intel Viiv technology ( 3.4ghz dual core, I was mainly looking for a very fast dual-core processor, and pentium D fit my standards because it is very fast when in highest performance mode, overclocks to 5.5ghz, that is freakin fast)
Ram: 2048mb Corsair ram
Heatsink: Cool Master (weighs a pound, very heavy heatsink, but keeps CPU very cool between 10C-17C, average is about 14C)
Video Card: Evga geforce 8800 GTX (768mb, 384-bit; graphics are amazing, better than the xbox360 graphics, highest HD quality)
Hard Drive 1: 36gb Raptor drive (10,000rpm) (for OS and programs)
Hard Drive 2: 320gb western digital (7,500 rpm) (for everything else, games, videos, etc.)
Cd Drive: Multi burner, cd's, DVD's, and dual layer discs
Floppy: what else can I say it's a floppy drive
4 fans to cool down computer
Rosewell 750-watt power supply, sli certified (after I got my new video card my 500-watt power supply blew, and I had to get a new one).
17" LCD Screen (1900x1200, supports highest HD quality)
Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard
Razer Blue Diamondback precision gaming mouse (freakin awesome mouse)
Logitech 140-watt stereo system

Total worth: between $3,000 - $4,000
Total Cost: $2,127 (and that is with really good deals)
Tower: $1,807
Screen: $120
Gaming Keyboard: $72
Gaming Mouse: $38
Gaming Stereo System: $90

Bottom line, this computer is so freakin fast and kicks a**!
