still on speaking terms, but his family doesn't know, and i doubt he'll tell them
it kind of saddens me that i did what i did, but i still think (as well as everyone i talked to) that it was the best thing for him
now instead of visiting me all the time, he is going to stay at home and find a job, see a counselor everyday, and stop his constant drinking, since he has finally relized that it was very bad to him
hopefully he can start to sort his own life out now
