Rin looked down the stone corrider. It was a prison. Dragons everywhere behind the stone bars. Yet there was something wrond with them, their eyes glowed a sickly red, their skin was barely staying on them, and they all had angry yet defeated air about them.
"This is what happens to us when we go to Earth now" whispered Kumori from behind Rin.
Rin gasped and hugged her fox closer.
"Anything we can do?" she asked quietly.
The she-dragon sighed, "We wish but the most we can do is keep them from tearing everything apart, they have lost all sense and now live only to destroy."
Rin was about to say something again when when one of the Dragons started hissing. Kumori looked over at it, surprised, then started hissing back. Rin looked between the two and wondered why they didn't sing like the others. After about five minutes Kumori looked at Rin and said "She wants to talk to you, I will translate."
Bewildered Rin took a step toward the cage and tentavivily whispered "Hello".
The dragon gave her a long look, it was frightening being this close to those glowing red eyes they seemed to look right past Rin and into her pitiful human soul , she was sure if the bars wern't their she would get eaten on the spot. Then the dragon started hissing, Rin just stared confused until Kumori still behind started translating.
"She says," whispered Kumori, "that you make her feel different so she wonders if you have any magic powers."
Rin shook her head, she was a nobody how could she do anything a dragon couldn't.
"She says believe and, wait" Kumori looked over at the dragon who was now acting very strangely.
"okay?" asked Rin.
The dragon was thrashing about her cage clawing at her head, as Rin watched the dragon almost seemed to be growing darker and sicker, she was about to ask Kumori what was going on when a loud, rude voice penetrated the dark cave.
"This is where you've been hiding Sarah was worried come on,"
Rin glared at Derek she wasn't the only one the poor dragon had stopped clawing but was now growling fiercley at Derek. Her red eyes livid with hate.
"Come child we must go," whispered Kumori, "I have never seen one this angry the bars may not hold angainst their fury."
Rin nodded and started up to the entrance.
