This morning I went to a Grassroots soccer convention, concerning HIV/AIDS and its affects on the African population in africa, and here in the future.
...I must say it really touched me.
I went there expecting to recieve another boring long lecture on HIV and AIDs and how I shouldnt have sex until I'm married, and then maybe kick around a soccer ball for a bit with some really good soccer players of whom I idolize..
But you know what? I think I can say that I learned more today that actually got through to me, then I ever could by kicking a soccer ball around. And I truly mean that...
When I"m old enough, I am definatly willing to join this organization.. and hopefully try to make a difference.. and show people that this is definatly a problem, and that if something isnt done.. Our generation is the group who will have to take care of it. Or face it I think I should better say.

On another note, DEva is leaving for South America today, and wont be back for a month. I'll miss her, but somehow I'm a bit glad shes gone.

sweatdrop And I think I made it through all my lightning soccer tryouts. Last night I spent three hours running around in 40 degree weather to impress rich pricks. But hey! They can play soccer! Which means if I get on the team, they can teach me to play soccer.. better!
