The Golden light
Of her silken soul
Entrances all that see
But, perhaps
The most entranced
By that light was me

I fell hard from the sky
To the ground below
And reached right up
As she passed by
To try to touch that glow

The fervor of my emotions
Gratifies my heart
And as I say these words
I chase her ever still
Across the ages and through my lives
My love unbridled by the times
Yet the one I love
Is ever out of my heart’s reach

But again, it may be for the better
For as long as I chase her heart
I am with her constantly
So I live my lives
In chase of that girl that takes my breath away
I say these things and I think
“I hope that when she hears these words
She will finally stop and stay”
For love’s true mission
Is to find us all one day.
