I lay a drift on a cloud, that carried me out to sea.
All the sky, the clearest blue, hovers over me.
My hand outstretched, reaching for the sun, I am happy. I am happy.
I close my eyes, breathe in slow and take in all that's there.
The gaping hole that was in my heart, is now preparing to repair.

I am home now, please don't take that away...
Living in my dream world, is all that keeps them at bay...
Please Sun, stay with me, even if it's just for today,
Just don't leave me all alone, when it, all turns to gray.

All the memories that haunt me, tear away at my dreams,
Nawing on parts of me, ripping away the seams.
I open my eyes and find that I am gasping for air,
And that hole that was in my heart, is still right there...still right there...

I am home now, please don't take that away...
