Race: Lycanthrope (Black Panther)

Magic/Power/Gift: Being a lycanthrope, Genn possesses the heightened senses, balance and instincts of a black panther. She can also turn into one at will, and through a life of training is able to shift between human and feline with much ease. Her clothes form into the black fur that covers her body, so there is no inconvenient need to shed layers before transforming. In both forms she is incredibly stealthy and fast, and can stalk without making a sound. These seemingly inhuman abilities make up for her lack in magical powers.

Weapons: Genn owns two black katar-like weapons that she holds in her hands. Each one has two blades that appear to be extended out of her knuckles when she holds them. They are light, but extremely sharp. When she is not using them, the katar rest in leather, metal-lined sheaths attached to her belt at the sides. She also owns several throwing knives, but they are rarely used. Other than that, the lycanthrope uses her claws and teeth to fight.

Physical Description: Despite being a great cat on the inside, Genn is a tiny young woman. She stands at around 4'10'' and weighs roughly 105 pounds. Her hair is cut rather short for a female, and black in colour. Her eyes are a deep red colour, and they keep their hue when she shifts into feline form. Although she is small, her legs are long for her size and toned with strong muscles. If one gets close enough to see, scars of varying size are visible on her body; there are even a few on her face. Like most lycanthropes, her canine teeth and nails are elongated and very sharp.
When shifted into her animal form, Genn is a large black panther (in complete contradiction to her short, scrawny human body). Her fur is the darkest of blacks, and her eyes remain red in colour. On a full moon, like every other lycanthrope, she turns into something that is trapped between human and beast. In such a form, she is a lot larger in size, and is able to stand on two legs. She can sometimes control herself, but on those nights she hides herself in the woods, where nobody can come near her and face her bloodlust.
Clothing: Her clothing is odd both for a female and for a fighter. Genn wears no armour, as it hinders her movement and subtlety; the two things she heavily relies on. Her clothing is simple - black long sleeved shirt and pants, red vest, scarf and headband, and four belts. Two of these belts criss-cross over her chest and back, the others are at her waist. The only remotely heavy garment she wears would be her boots. Despite them, she can still step in complete silence.

Panther

Personality: Genn is a wild animal in almost every aspect. Unruly, sarcastic and snippy, she does not seem afraid to speak her mind. This does not mean that she cannot be a nice person. With a soft spot for animals, someone may be fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of an almost nurturing side to the woman. She is also quite curious, and sometimes forgets her caution when pursuing something of interest. There is no denying that Genn dislikes humans, but she can be civil towards absolutely anyone if there is something she can gain from it. She does smile quite a bit, but mostly it is a smug smirk that implies she knows something you do not. One habit of hers is that she will actually purr when happy about something. That said, her temper is even shorter than she is. It does not take much to get her to growl and get defensive. When she does, don't be surprised if the kitty shows her claws.
While sometimes enjoying the company of others, Genn is still a panther, therefore a solitary creature. Other lycans are friends in her eyes, and the remaining races are approached with standoffish caution. She does interact with them, however, if they seek to hire her as a mercenary. That is her primary source of income (although she mostly feeds herself by hunting), as she has become a pretty well-known assassin in most small towns. If you have someone you need taken care of, chances are that guy you know in that seedy tavern will suggest seeking out this rogue panther. She does not leave a trail, and rarely plays with her food.
Being both an assassin and a lycanthrope, Genn has to be very careful. Not only would the reward for her death be enough to retire any hunter, but her velvet-like fur would be a lovely present for a lord to give to his lady. That is why she does not stay in one place long, visiting small towns at random and generally keeping to the wilderness as the feline she is. The Narg cave is technically her home, although she rarely makes the journey to get there.

A little history: Genn was raised solely by her father, who taught her almost everything she knows now. Her temper, smugness, and abilities were inherited from him. He did not just teach her how to fight and hunt, but to read and write. She never knew her mother, but was told that hunters had killed her when Genn was still an infant. They resided in a cottage in the mountains, and lived solely off the land. When she was old enough, the daughter went her own way as all grown felines do, and has been alone ever since. She does visit her father on occasion, whenever she feels her wit and emotional claws are sharp enough to put up with the old man (Genn does love him, but he is just as aggravating as she is most days).

Character Flaws:
As far as physical flaws go, Genn is small in size, and not very strong. She is also allergic to silver. Along with that, she has a short temper, possesses a little too much pride, and is sometimes curious to a fault. Also, she has a secret weakness for anything sweet. Tea, candy, anything. If you give her something sweet, you will essentially have a new lap-cat.
