The trees are scarred by the fights that have happened
Everyone knows of the truth in their lives
Faces of evil haunt their dreams
These are the scars that mark the trees
They grow afraid and in denial
They will never be able to live again
They cry and cry for safety in their lives
But die in pain not in relief
