Three men have risen to power in the corrupt world that Mateo lives in. The world's population has been reduced to a few villiages every few days journey, and people living here and there; it's population only a third of what it had been before the mass war. Harldy even diserrving the name of a war, it was called this because of the three men, called the Kovenant. The Kovenant gathered small armies, men and creature alike, creating one large body of destruction built on greed. The men were won over by either terror, blackmail, loyalty of a natural follower without question, as well as by other means. The Kovenant were feared and still are by all. No one dares to stand up to them or come near them, for they are ruthless, concienceless, and in everyway careless to all inferior life forms. They wanted world domination, and so far they have it. They kill sometimes because they feel like it, because they feel they need to, and sometimes to make a mark of someone.
The world is small to Mateo. He will go to the ends of the earth to find The Kovenant. He plans to kill them, to bring them to justice, and give back to the world what has been taken away, and become the new ruler of the planet, winning the hearts of many in doing so. On his journey, he finds love, a trustworthy and steady partner who he shares his travels with after saving her life. She becomes his queen in the end.
The Kovenant find a portkey one day, that take them to a new demension. (Your character's realm) Here, they try to dominate as well, finding more and more people for their armies and weapons that would make dwellers from Mateo's realm give up all hope and efforts to finding a better life. Mateo finds out their secret to their new weapons and where they are finding all the extra men, and follow. It is here that Mateo (and your character) meet. Together they destroy The Kovenant, but it is not without a hard road and great difficulty. Patients, loyalties, and many more will be tried and put at stake to save the place Mateo calls home; but it is prophesized by the one who helped raise him that it will be so...
