Bio of nEnder

History of the name:

The name nEnder means 'No End' or 'No end to the pain'. It was a name that I used in the game Starsiege Tribes, a FPS for the PC that I would play during high school. I only used the name for this game alone and after growing board of playing it, I retired nEnder, never for him to kill again.
A few years pass and my friend Kcin gets me to join, what was called at the time; GoGaia. A forum website.
When creating an avatar, I was having problems with a name. Thinking back thru my names that I've used in the past for games, nEnder popped up. It wasn't killing, so I could still get away with using the name I justified.

How to pronounce it? Normally I leave it up to the reader, but I say it 'Nen-der'. The odd capitalization means nothing to me.


History of the character:

nEnder's been thru allot. More then one person should. He's been killed, turned into a girl, a fox, gained, and lost, power, fallen in love, and lost it.
To start with the history of things, first is that nEnder wasn't even nEnder.
Years ago, a powerful wizard was practicing magic, accidentally hit someone.
Going to check and apologize for the error, found a kitsune that was out cold from the magic blast.
Fearing for his life, the wizard locked the memories and powers of the kitsune with a powerful spell, turning him into an average boy with the ears and tail of a fox.
The wizard, feeling sorry for the boy, took him in and tried to train him in the ways of magic, but to only find out that the curse that keeps the kitsune side of him dormant, also makes him unable to use magic.
This did not faze the wizard as he still taught the boy about the ways of spell-crafting and potion making.
One day the boy was working on a new potion when he picked up the wrong ingredient and the mixture became unstable and exploded in a powerful fireball that engulfed the boy and most of the room. The wizard, hearing the noise came running to find the room torn apart. The boy was slumped up against the wall, a little singed, but mostly unharmed.
The wizard knew now that the boy was immune to magic and began to take advantage of him. Having the boy set up and trigger many spells too dangerous for the wizard to do himself.
The wizard went as far as testing new spells right on the boy, horribly scaring him in the process.
This continued until the wizard used his greatest spell, a calling of the fires of hell to pull ones enemies into it. The spell worked, fires burned thru the house, flames lapped at the boy's feet, but it was unable to pull him down into hell.
The fire twisted in air. It needed to claim someone for the spell to end. The boy was immune to its pull, but the wizard was not. He was dragged into the depths of hell, never to be heard of again.
The house was burring and the wizard was dead, left the boy alone and unsure of what to do next. Never having to think for himself, he fled into the woods, to escape the nightmares that where his only memory.

It didn't take long for the boy to meet Kcin and shortly thereafter the forum picks up the rest of the story.
