Our drawing class has been told to draw our dreams by our semi crazy anti-anime teacher. No really, she seemes to expect us to accually remember our reams enough to draw them. Sadly enough, I only remember the really dull dreams. Or the ones that have me waking up screaming and crying in the middle of the night... At the moment, because I'm annoyed with this teacher, I am sorley tempted to draw one of the really scarey ones, blood, gore, psycological terror, all that, but I know that I really don't even want to try drawing those scenes. I'm really not that talented yet. instead, I am drawing a bunch of twittery fairy things flying around this planet thing... I really have to stop trying to draw poetry, its not working. Really.

On top of that, the drawing has to be "Surreal". oh goodie, 'cause faries are so fricken real. My freind Ruuka can attest to the epic terribleness of the stupid thing. though he wont say it sucks. Ha!

On the other hand, I had to tech for a theater after school on friday. I do Lights for plays and musicals, you know theater lights. flashyness. well, in our little Theter Tech class, we have three main 'professions' firs is the Stage Manager, who handles the scene changes and props and sets. I have to be truthfull and say thats tha hardest job of all, you should hear how much our SM yells! Then there's the Sound. They set up all the sound systems, microphones, speakers, chorals and a load of other stuff I really don't understand. Last theres Light. thats me! we set up all the lights ( hang, focus, gel, program, in that order.) we often get stuck in the theater till midnight or later.

Back to the subject at hand, I was helping tech for this band compitetion thingy, but the other techies (thats what we call ourselves) abandoned me! I found myself stuck doing light (eaisy) and sound (that I know very little about.) luckly, It was not a hard show to tech. but here's the kicker. I didnt mess up on the sound, oh know, I messed up on the lights, the lights ive been learning about for half a year. in the middle of one bands performance, I somehow managed to black out the entire theater! pitch black, no lights. not only that, but I somehow deleted the submaster that held all the lights for the stage ( a submaster is a slider/button that controlles several lights, in this case, the slider controlled all the lights on the stage) I had to find and turn on each light seperatly. What a nightmare! i was lucky noone panicked... much. there was more laughter and wolf whistles. I'm so glad the people were so understanding! after all, its really hare to take a girl with pink hair seriously. I'm quite glad Ruuka (thats his username btw) was there, its better to screw up when theres a friend there to laugh at you. Ha! and I thought It was a simple show.
