Time for a little controversy! |

Welcome again! Now, I'm going into a little topic that quite gets me (and other people) going. Emo. Yes, I just said the "E" word.
Now, I believe I should clear things up before I get going. To me, and the subject of this entry, Emo are not people with real problems, or who have any form of depressive syndromes. Anyone with real problems should find help for it, because it can be dangerous.
Emos are the ones who do it because it's 'cool' or it's to 'rebel'. These teens are generally from middle-class white-bred suburbia, and are often simply bored with their lives. These people simply whine about all their problems, which are usually quite trivial (oh, my daddy cut my allowance!), and simply brood all the time. This bloody new sub-culture is pathetic, and created a generation of weak-willed, cowardly individuals who believe it better to take the easier road and just whine, compared to actually doing something productive for a change! All the drama they make is simply a pathetic excuse to somehow add some excitement to their run of the mill, day to day, lives. There's better ways to do that then make a pathetic excuse for a person out of yourself!
Now, I'm not going to get too far into the music, being a complete music fanatic, so I could rant for a few pages about the Emo music. But the quick overview: Lack of originality, whinny and no real musical talent. I mean, honestly, when three bands have very similar guitar riffs, don't you think you have a problem?! Also, I don't care about how the kids at school pick on you, or how life is hard, or you parents hate you. Shut the ******** up! Suck it up, and learn to deal with life the same way everyone else does. These lyrics that are about teen angst in every form are what truly defines whether a band is Emo. For example, the band Stars have a commercial sound to them, so they sound Emo, but their lyrics make it that they aren't! And I don't care how the band sounds, the moment the song is about teen angst, the song is Emo.
Finally, stop wearing symbols you don't understand! If you wear a band, like them (I don't know how many times I've seen people wearing The Doors, or Black Sabbath, and not knowing who they are. Pathetic, I know.)! If you wear the Anarchist A, look into it! It's more than just no governement! If you wear a Che shirt, support what he did! And bloody hell people, don't wear a damned upside-down pentagram unless you're a bloody Satanist!
There's a tad of the ranting out. Now, for anyone who reads this, and wishes to debate with me, make logical arguments. If not, I'll start making an entry of all the worst PMs I've gotten. Finally, before anyone starts, don't even bother pulling "it's in fashion" on me. I'm extremely fashionable and keep up with the newest styles.

Hello! This would be, as the title indicates, my little corner of the insanity of the world. My thoughts go here, along with my some beliefs on betterment of the world, society so on and so forth.
Chances are, many people reading this may be offended. Guess what: I don't care. If you don't like what I have to say, you have two choices. 1) Don't read it. Or 2) send me a Pm or comment with CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Trust me when I say, if it's nothing but flaming, I'll ignore you (unless it continues, then I'll report you). If it's constructive, or even just your own opinion that you wish to voice to me (if you wish to start a conversation/debate, please do it over PM, just for convenience), I'll gladly respond if it's done intelligently.
Right, that's it for now, see ya later! WellThen
