My Crap
“I don’t think you understand how big of a problem this is,” his voice was strong and never wavered as he spoke, yet his hand excitedly tried to calm his agitated face. “If they can shift than they’re the first Werewolves in 1300 years. Do you know what kind of effect that could have?”
“Don’t worry about it so much, Theodore, I’m sure our own little Alpha Princess will lead them all to failure, I mean, look at how big of a help she was to her own people, her own blood.” His voice whispered condescendingly into Theo’s ear, “No, don’t worry about her, she’s only a threat to the people who follow her.”
“Yes Sir,” Theo coughed away from the phone and wiped a few tears from the corners of his eyes in one swift, practiced, motion. He still thought of Lily sometimes, and always he ended up having to banish her from his mind, yet her face always found a way to creep back in again.
“But,” Alrick continued, “just as a precaution, and because I’m slightly curious, find out how to kill them, Theodore.”
“How am I supposed to find that out?” Theo asked, yet no one was on the other line.

“You’re worthless,” Sigh launched himself at Theo and drove the pipe in his hand into the other man’s stomach.
“No,” Lily was at Theo’s side and held his hand as he bled out on the dirt floor. “Don’t worry Theo you’re going to be okay, I promise.”
“I know…I know I’ll be fine. It really…doesn’t hurt…that…bad,” he slurred his words like a drunk and his chin was already covered with blood.
“That’s cause I most likely broke your spine dumbass,” Sigh smirked from the corner, he always took great pride in watching his victims last living moments, “But don’t worry you’ll only be a vegetable for a couple minutes at most.” He laughed, and for the first time in her life Lily knew what Zach had been talking about, the power. She felt it speed through her veins, faster than any drug she’d every taken, prescribed and recreational. It was almost painful, but it was like cutting your wrist, pain was part of the pleasure.
“L…Lily?” Theo gagged as more blood flooded his mouth. His eyes were unfocused, but he was still alive enough to see the new spark that burned behind her eyes, such beautiful brown eyes. He closed his own eyes and began to slip away, thinking of her eyes, Lily’s eyes, looking at him as they glowed.
“Don’t worry Theo, I can save you,” she picked up his head and brought it closer to her own, “you can blame me for everything,” Lily whispered in his ear. She tilted his head, kissed his neck and felt his fading pulse against her lips, and than she sank her teeth into his flesh, willing all the power in her to manifest itself in him, to command him to live.

Theo woke in a thick sweat. He thought that he’d been dreaming, and the dream was both beautiful and frightening at the same time. He felt like a monster in the dark castle, at first he thought he was near the ocean until he realized that the pounding came from a door at the end of a long stone corridor. He didn’t want to go down the corridor, for some reason the thought scared him, but he couldn’t let someone else die in this place. Die? Was that what this was, Death? He didn’t feel dead, yet to be entirely truthful he didn’t feel too alive either. The pounding continued, yet as he got closer he could also hear the shouts and screams, although the words all merged together and made them unrecognizable. He was standing at the door, yet he didn’t remember walking down the hall, as if time had skipped forward, leaving out the dull and mundane parts. He ran his fingers over the door, just the barest of touches with his fingertips, and just from that he suddenly knew that the door wasn’t all wood. There was metal inside the door, as if someone had gotten two separate doors, placed a slab of steel between them, and forced them to be one. Forever doomed to stand guard to this cold damp place. He could hear the people on the other side of the door pounding, yet it wasn’t the sound of their fists against the door, it was the sounds of their hearts. He could hear their blood as it flooded through their veins, and he wanted it. He wanted it more than anything he’d ever wanted in his entire life, but it wasn’t right to kill them. Or was it? He didn’t know them; for all that he knew they deserved to die. He thought he heard an animal moan, until he realized that it was him and he’d bitten into the flesh of his wrist. The wound was deep enough that it should’ve drawn blood, yet nothing came and he just stood there looking at the bite.
Blood! He needed blood to survive, and it was right behind the door. He knew that it would be easy to take, he was a predator now, and nothing could stop him. As soon as he thought that, he knew that it wasn’t true, he could still die, just not as easily as before, because this new form his body had taken would re-mend even the deadliest of ailments. All he needed was blood. Even the smallest amount of the sweet elixir would heal the self inflicted bite wound on his wrist. He reached for the door, he didn’t have to kill them, just enough to heal, that’s all he told himself he’d take.
“Theo, Stop!” Lily shouted and he turned around to find her standing behind him, her hand outstretched toward him. “Don’t open the door, Theo, you’ll regret it later,” she took a step closer, “come with me, I can help you.”
He turned away from her, he didn’t need her help, all he had to do was open the door and he’d be healed and free for eternity. Eternity? That was an awful long time to have to live with these deaths on his conscience, no matter how much they might’ve deserved to die.
“Come with me, Theo, I can help you,” she came another step closer and he could smell the fear she felt, it was like a perfume that hung over her. He turned away again and he could feel her walking the last few steps to him, yet when she put her hand on his shoulder he shrugged it away. She was scared of him now. His whole life he’d wished that he’d been bigger and bader so that she’d notice him, well she sure noticed him now.
“I promise that no one will ever hurt you again,” he sighed and the next breath brought in the scent of her and he realized that he’d had the emotion wrong. She wasn’t afraid of him, she was afraid for him.
“I don’t think you have to worry about anyone hurting me anymore, Lily. I’m one of the monsters now,” his head sunk down when he said it.
“Don’t think like that, Theo,” placed her hand on his shoulder again.
He smiled as he turned around, “I didn’t say I didn’t like it,” he laughed at the bewildered look that came over her face. “Come on, I’m finally apart of the club now and if I have to be a monster to get membership than so be it,” he chuckled again and it felt weird, as if his body was suddenly different than it had been a moment before.
She smiled, “I’m glad you’re happy, but you should come with me just so you don’t get tempted to open that door.”
“That’s fine by me,” he grabbed her hand and held it between both of his, her hands were more calloused than he remembered.
“Okay, but you should take some blood from me, just in case something were to happen.” She reached inside her pocket and pulled out a small pocket knife.
“No, I don’t need to drink blood.” As he said it he felt as if the beating hearts behind the door had less appeal to him.
“You don’t?” she thought for a moment before continuing, “I still think it would be a good idea if you drank a little from me, just to be sure.”
“No, Lily, I don’t need blood. I want it, but I don’t need it.” She still looked puzzled so he continued, “It’s like a really expensive kind of alcohol, it might be nice every once in awhile, but not too much at a time and not in too close of a time period. Otherwise you become an addict and you go broke. Does that make any sense?”
“Yeah, I think I understand what your saying,” she turned around with her hand still in his and began to lead him back the way he’d come down the corridor, “But you’re sleeping in my room just to be safe for tonight, and don’t try to argue your way out of that.”
He laughed, even though he wasn’t entirely sure she was trying to be funny, “Why would I want to argue with that.”

Theo woke up in stages, as if his body and mind both needed time to adjust. When he finally became fully aware of his surroundings he still felt groggy and the slight thrum of a headache pulsed behind his eyes. It took him a long time to notice that he was in a bed that he’d never seen before, yet the blankets felt comfortable draped around his body. The room was practically empty, except for a small, crude table that was adorned with a hair brush and several books. There were a few other small stacks of hardback books in the far right corner, but it was plain to see that the only main function of the room was as a place to sleep. He thought he saw a book that he recognized within one of the stacks and began to get out of bed, but as soon as he pulled back the sheet he heard someone moan and suddenly realized that he wasn’t the only one in the bed.
“Theo what are you doing?” Lily’s voice was almost un-understandable; she slurred her words so bad from sleep.
“Nothing, I just thought I saw a book,” he snuggled back into the blankets and scooted closer to her body so he could rest his head on her shoulder, just like when they were kids, yet he couldn’t rest his head on her shoulder now cause she was lying on her side, so he just pressed it against he back.
“Well you’re welcome to read it in the morning,” she slurred her words less, which meant that she was more awake now than she was asleep, which he felt slightly guilty about.
“What do you mean, it is morning.”
“Are we having an eclipse or something than cause I don’t remember morning being pitch black,” with his head against her back he could feel the words as she spoke them.
He laughed, “It’s not dark out, I can see perfectly fine.”
She rolled over onto her back and he pushed himself into a sort of pushup so she wouldn’t run into him, which left him staring down at her while she stared up at him. “Do you remember anything about what happened yesterday, Theo?” Her voice held no signs that she was even remotely tired, yet he could see the force it took her to keep her eyes open, the gentle muscles as they twitched in protest at having to work so hard.
“Yeah, you made me a vampire,” the choice of words sounded slightly wrong, it made it sound as if he regretted her decision. “I’m a vampire now,” he said more proudly, “but does that mean that it’s really the middle of the night than?”
“Yeah. It is.”
“Wow, it’s just that I can see everything so clearly. This is amazing! I’m like a freaking super hero now! How do you handle all of this cool stuff all the time?”
She laughed, “I can’t see in the dark, Theo.”
“Yeah but I bet you have your own super powers,” he looked down at her and smiled and it occurred to him that he’d thought about her like this quite a few times.
She laughed again, “yeah I guess if that’s what you want to call them, but you’re not mad at me?”
“No! There’s no reason for me to be. Honestly, Lily, I’m happier right now as a vampire than I think I ever could’ve been as a human.”
“That’s good,” she yawned, “sorry, I’m just really tired.”
He chuckled as he brought his head down and rested it against her shoulder, “you should be, it is the middle of the night.”
“Yeah,” she slowly slid her weight out from underneath him and for a moment he thought that was her polite way of telling him to back off, until she rested her head against his shoulder and fell asleep. It took him awhile to fall asleep, he kept thinking about how this was like one of his fantasies, and yet, as he too dozed off, it didn’t feel in the least way sexual, just comfortable, nothing like what his old human mind had depicted.

random story i came up with one day lol
