Love. What is it about that word that drives people nuts?
Is it because it gives you the feeling of utter joy and peacefulness.....
Can you define Love?
In your own words not something from the dictionary...
The book has never had a feeling in its life.
What did you come up with?
Love: Joyous release.
Love: The appitamy of happiness.
Love: Completion.
Love: Finding your other half.
Did any of these go along the same lines as what you thought Love was...or would this sound more like it?
Love: Destruction.
Love: Kayos.
Love: Death.
Love: Lose.
Love: Heartache.
I would like to think that, that nutty little word is a jumble of everything.
That's the reason I got my tattoo of the chinese symbol for Love.
Also it accured to my that while my rist healed it kinda acted like a heart.
Now just fallow me on this, it bruised but healed.
I had to go in for a touch up and this time it bruised and bled, and again healed. Yet I know that the coloring that is my tattoo is really just a colored scare under my skin. And the heart tends to do the same thing, it bruises and heals, it bleeds and heals but instead of a colored one it leaves a scare that nobody can see or feel.....but you know its there because you remember the pain you went through to get that scare.
I think thats why I got it on my right wrist...First I'm right handed so why not, Second, its in a place were I'll see it everyday, and Third it reminds me that hearts heal.....maybe a little tougher then before, more skeptical and skittish, but they heal just the same.
Yet those on the almighty search for the elusive Love Bug must remember that there are those that have put themselves on the line and bled more times then they'd like to admit, or it could have been one massive wound caused by one person.....you never know.
Just remember that a person isn't born with that cold and tough as steal barrier around them, its made over time. And maybe, just maybe your patience and your own jaded heart can melt that icy exterior and you'll meet the real person behind the wall of insecurities.
