Alrite. I'll start off my journal with a topic I hold near and dear to my heart, seeing as no one will read this. heart It's about Zam. You, hypothetical nonexistent person, might say, "Wait, you're Zam!". That is correct, but the REAL Zamirephynos, from whom I named my Gaia self, is not who you think he is. Yes, he. Zam is my daemon. If you've read the Golden Compass or seen the movie you know what I'm talking about. But those daemons are just the fictional representation of what they really are. Zam is an imaginary manifestation of my subconscious who, although lacks a physical body, is my constant companion and friend. I know, I know, saying I'm friends with something that is inherintly "myself" probably sounds more than a little weird. Oh well, live with it. xp
Another cool aspect of daemons is that, like in the books/movie, they are represented by animals that closely relate to one's own personality. Again, they are not physical, only imaginary. The animal representation is only symbolic and some people don't use it at all (Zam is a Culpeo, aka. Andean Fox) . Anyway, I'm really bad at explaining things, so if you're curious and want to know more, head over to DAEMONPAGE.COM !!
