I am sick of penguins. "But!", you may very well exclaim, "Penguins are cute and lovable! Who could have anything against penguins?". Well, me, for one. Don't worry. I haven't always hated all small, adorable animals. It's just the ones that get in my way. No, I've only started this penguin thing recently, after my little brother went to the video store and decided that he really really really wanted to rent 'Happy Feet'. The movie hasn't even left the conemas yet and there's already a feakin' game. More to the point, a freakin' LISCENCED game.
Anyway, we took it home, but my brother, being to young to play it properly (he's only 4), had to get someone to help him. And WHO do you think won that prestigious honour? stressed He made me play the whole way through the game. So, sadly, the newest game to the list of 'games that I've clocked' is Happy Feet. Basically, you have to play through all the mission based levels going along the plot of the movie. I haven't actually seen the movie, but I don't know if I could now.
Basically, there were three types of levels. Levels where who swam, levels where you slid around on your belly, and levels where you danced. The dancing was the most fun, but the layout was a complete DDR rip. ONly, instead of using a dancemat, you used the Wii remote to hit the arrows by flicking it up, down, left and right. This got really REALLY tedious after a while, and a fair bit of the time it wouldn't register your movements. evil Even when I asked my little brother if I could stop he GUILTED me into continuing "No, please, keep going, we have to finish!" Dammit.
Admittedly, it wasn't the worst liscenced game I've ever seen, but it was really really far from the top. And that's why I'm sick of penguins.
Except for the Batman guy.
