The Life of Me

If you could open up my mind, this may be what you'd find.



.:Poem Rant:. Maybe we aren't meant to be, This might not last forever, Maybe we're not meant for this, Not meant to be together. But maybe we are meant to be, This is meant to last forever, This may be just what we're here for, We may belong together. If nothing's what it seems, Then why do we have eyes? To steer us from the truth, And lead us towards the lies? Then call me blind, It's what I'll be. If love's without sight, Then no longer shall I see.

.:Rant:. It's so hard to say these words that feel so true, but we can't hold them back. We can't leave them unsaid if they're mean't to be spoken. So, its possible that it was only illusion, but if you feel the words in your heart, there's porbably a reason they're there. Yes, love is mean't to last forever, but what person knows for sure that it will always last? All we have is hope, intuition and the feelings in our hearts. Love is a strong word, but how is it that it can be too strong when any other word just doesn't seem strong enough? Some people do immediately throw the word around, knowing that they have nothing in common or that it wont last or not even knowing each other at all. But we do know each other and how much we belong. Honestly, if in your heart and your mind you feel these words to be true, they should be said- .:I Love You:.
