As the New year comes upon us take time out and reflect upon the year. Remember the good times, mourn the bad. Take the lessons you've learned put them to good use. Learn from your mistakes and better yourself. Be grateful for the friends you've made. Mourn those that you've lost. The greatest discoveries are within and can be found if you honestly search. Help is never too far off. Your true friends are never too far away and will always come with a call. There is a higher calling for everyone, find yours. Do not bury your sins from the year past. They will grow and come back biting later. Ask forgiveness of your wrongs. Settle quarrels with your fellow man hold no grudges this new year. Shed your remorse and your regret. A man weighed down does not go far. When you look back at this passing year, may it be quality not quantity your eyes search for. It is not how much you've done, but how hard you've tried and for what reasons. Even if all else seems miserable, if you can find one remotely good thing that's happened you know it's worth going on with life. Good things come to those who wait. Don't try to rush through life. Stop and take your time. Life is short enough. If you remember ones you've lost this year, don't remember the sadness you felt at their passing, but instead remember the joy they brought when you were together. Keep the happy times in your heart forever and never forget that person's memory.
Now, heed those words as you ring in the new year. Repay your debts. Cast aside your grudges. Repent your wrong doings. And out your days to the fullest for the rest of your life.
Now, may I wish a very happy, blessed, and prosperous New Year to you and yours.

A pipe bust so my school and others around the area closed. It's one of the few times I'm glad I don't go to public school. I woke up this morning at 5:30 checked the news and was elated to find school closed. I went back to bed at about 8 something and slept until about 11 something when my sister rudely woke me up. I didn't officially rise from bed until 12:30. But, I've eaten for a change, so I am not hungry and since I haven't been using my energy in large quantities like I would at school I'm still not hungry and I've gotten enough sleep! Oh I'm in an unusually good mood. Oh yes! So happy!

Ok so I came home from school. I ate the bacon, egg, and sasuge toaster scramble I didn't get for breakfast and ate some left over beef lasagna. So I grab my homework and head up to the office and log on to myspace. So a friend posted this bulletin I couldn't get to it so she sent me the link. I watched about a minute and felt a chill go through my very soul. I knew animals were treated badly but this is worse than I imagined.
The truth about the meat industry
The crulty those poor creature go through for our burgers, bacon, and what not. Castrated, branded, scalded, decapitated, and all with out pain killers or anstetics. Like veal? They lock calves up chop off there legs and feed them cement. Perhaps that was an exageration. But it isn't much worse than what they actually go through.
You may say thats why animals were created. I believe God created animals to provide for man. God didn't intend for the animals to be abused and tortured. I honestly say, if your going to have large scale meat industries treat the animals properly.
Don't give a hoot about cows and pigs and chicken and/or other creatures? Think about your own health. The USDA aka the United States Dairy Association can say beef riddle with disease and cancer is of proper grade and perfectly ok to eat.
I'm not saying you have to give up milk and meat. But stop and think about the pain and suffering endured for your meal. Watch the video and think about it. Is it worth it? I don't think it is.
