Chapter 1 - The Female
Hikaru ventured off into the forest since a day in Golden City seemed a bit to boring for him. There just seemed to be absolutley no more adventureuos deeds other than helping an old lady carry her bags. So Hikaru decided to venture into the forest.
"Oh boy the most adventureous thing to do here is picking up sticks it seems." He said as he knelt over and made a small camp fire. He screwed with is and made it bigger then smaller then messed around with some surrounding leaves.
Suddenly his makeshift campfire died from a jet of ice cold water that splashed him. "You really shouldn't light the forest on fire." He heard and he turned around to see the same silver haired girl he'd heard in the stories. confused She didn't seem a threat.
"You're the fabled demon girl that lurks in the forest killing teenage girls?" Hikaru asked innocently.
"Erm...I don't kill any teenage girls.... Neither do I lurk in the forests. I come here time to time and I go into the city I just live more in the country." She said and she give a very sweet smile. She bared one fang and Hikaru was almost lost. It was like she was...shining.... The almond colored woman bent down and gave him a hand tipped with claws. He looked at it and smiled grabbing it with his own clawed hand.

"So can you explain the killing girls and why the city doesn't trust you?" Hikaru said walking with the girl.
"The city doesn't trust me? The country loves me and treats me as their own and so does the city most of the time."
"Really?"
"Yeah don't know what your talking about. I don't kill teenage girls either I know a few that I helped with there problems and they just left after a while. Guess they didn't go back home." She finished and Hikaru stopped by a large cherry tree.
"What's your name? I'm Mimaru Hikaru, I control Fire."
"That's a horrible element!"
"What? No it's not!"
"Yes it is!"
"How so?!"
"Can Fire heal or mend? Can it help the hungry or rebuild a city?!"
"...Well no..."
"All it can do is destroy."
Hikaru had nothing to say. What she said was the truth. That is all fire was meant for...or mostly meant for. Destruction. "I have to go now." Inukai said solemnly. Hikaru didn't realize he was silent for so long. "Sorry, I'll see you another day." And with that she jumped off. She probably thought she hurt his feelings. Wait a minute...damn't!
He didn't even know her name!
