I'm just posting in here since it's been so long. xd I hope everyone had a great holiday and that you're looking forward to 2007. 3nodding

No Spanish Wednesday or next Monday so everyone can catch up on their online quizzes. *dances* Tonight's my Algebra exam and who knows what's upcoming for English. I'll probably go over my homework this afternoon before I leave and review, but I'm all caught up for the most part. I'm still in my PJ's, so I probably should concentrate on getting myself together although it's only 7:20 - for some reason I woke up at like 5:30 this morning after being up until 11:00 or so. Sheesh.

I got my scheduling done this morning and got into the classes I want for next semester. I also am chilling this morning since I got all my homework done this weekend for once. *claps* Also because my car is in the shop again and I might as well chill about it. At least I got in while the check engine light was on. I was afraid she was going to stop on the highway though for a bit there. There's really nothing freakier than the feeling of when your car starts to lose power. They don't know what's going on since their scanner won't come up with a code but they're going to try something else and let us know after lunch.

I have three exams this week. One's tonight, one's thursday night and the Spanish one is by Monday at 7:00 p.m. I also have to finish my speech stuff between today and tomorrow since that class is thursday also. If I get out early from English Comp, that's probably what I'll do. I'm normally not bad about leaving stuff until the last minute but I've been so unmotivated. If I had known I could take theater instead of public speaking, I might have done that, but my advisor never brought it up. Ahh, well. I'll survive.

Tengo que a ir a la boda esta fin de semana. I have to go to a wedding this weekend. No, that's not a happy thing. scream Oh, I'm sure it's going to be fun especially if my Dad decides to stop the wedding. sweatdrop You don't want to know, folks, I swear it. But most of ye who know me knows I come from unique stock. Wheeeeeeeee... blaugh

(Yes, I'm trying to fit in my Spanish practice everywhere I can... lol. We just had a test on the forms of tener que, ir, y ir a... So... yeah. Anyway.)

Algebra exam next week, so I probably will do the review on Friday. I got a 100% last time not stressing and I'm sure I'll have a repeat. I'm happy with the A's I've been getting in most of my class. English Comp looks to be my only B so far. If I get a C I deserve someone to kick me square in my pants.

I need to finish reading my text for Chemical Dependency Counseling class tonight. I like the class, but the text is so unbearably dry. Even my dog wouldn't eat it. Not that I would want him to considering the textbook was eighty bucks worth of pain in my wallet. eek

I did fair today in towns, picking up some gold, flowers, papers, and the occasional bug. (Does anyone else yell obscenities at the dragonflies?) sweatdrop I miss the card and slot games though. Bring them back! 4laugh

My professor still hasn't posted the homework that's supposed to be due tomorrow. Watch her post it tonight. Like I'm not going to have enough to do after tonight. stressed Oh well, at least we have a week to complete the quiz, right? I shouldn't complain. (I think with my genetics that may well be impossible.)

stare I wish a certain person would really take the hint and leave me alone. But then again, I probably inspire similar thoughts for other people. hehehehe. Still, he's starting to creep me out a little. confused

I wonder what my grade for that English Comp paper is going to be? Oh well, I'll find out tonight. Whether I'm happy with it or not is another matter.

Well, I got through my homework fairly quickly all things considered so I had some of Saturday and most of today just to be lazy. I did some constructive stuff, but I played a lot.

Well, I got a phone call about the job I applied for. No, I didn't get it. crying

After a few minutes of bawling, I picked out the paper again looking for something else to apply for. I got a resume ready to mail for a part-time bookkeeping position. Hey, if I knock on enough doors, I ought to get something, right? sweatdrop I hope so. I gotta check with the district office at the college, supposedly they are hiring someone for a secretary position. It can't hurt so long as the hours work for me. Anyway, once I get doing something, I always feel better.

Plus I'm having pizza tonight.

I can't wait for the card and slot games to come back online. I liked those things. I saw somebody moved into the neighborhood here on Gaia where I'm at. I'm not isolated any more. I added green tiles to my floor. I think it looks good, but the walls sorta clash now. heh. Anyway, do you like the green floor tiles or not?

I think it went well. Don't know yet really but she said she might get back with me in a day or two. Thanks for any good thoughts. I need to wash my car and do some other stuff around here today. I'm mostly caught up on my homework, believe it or not. I've only found a few things so far on my paper for English that I need to change. Minor stuff, really. Maybe I'm getting better at writing with this class. We shall see.

In any case... guess I'll go wash my car. See you later!
