I'm a senior now!!!
upsate about what's been happening lately...
in may I was diagnosed with diabetes.. we found out 2 months ago that it's type 2.
I've been losing a lot of wieght and I went down 3 pant sizes and 20 lbs.
I've lost mostly inches, not pounds... my weight is mostly muscle. I workout a lot and eat healthy. I have to watch the carbs, calories and total fat in everything!!! It's a pain, but it's working. I can still have all the foods I used to have, just in smaller portions. Now that I know I can have it, it's a lot easier for me to go on a diet, cuz I don't want it. I've lost a lot of wieght and I'm still losing.
I haven't gotten a job yet, but I'm working on that.
I have an adorable 4 month old brother. My lil sister is 4 years old now. They grow so fast.
Like I said before, I'm a senior now. I'm really excited about this school year and also very nervious.
I can't wait to get to the Ready Set Teach class and find out what kindergarden class I'll be helping out in. I can't wait to meet the little kids. I love them.. I wanna be a kindergarden teacher after college.

I went to Canyon Lake on Sunday and came back on Wednesday... I gotta say, Canyon Lake is a beautiful place. If you haven't been, you should go. I got tons of pictures. It's a great place to just get away from all your problems an stresses of your normal day. A great place to sit and relax by the water or under a tree. A great place to be alone with your special someone or to just be by yourself and think. A great place for a family vacation.

On tuesday night, my aunt, cousin and I slept under the stars while everyone else was in the cabin. The sky is so beautiful out there. You can see more stars out there than you can normally see in the city. It's just so beautiful out there... it's prettier than the beach. I had a blast!

what I did:
Sunday: relaxed, went swimming, took pictures
Monday: relaxed, BBQ'd, swimming, took pictures
Tuesday: Shopping at the outlet mall, took pictures
Wednesday: cleaning, packing, BBQ, took pictures

I was completely exhausted when I got home..... lol
The lake is also a great place to take any foster children you may have...... it's so much better seeing the lake through their eyes, especially when they've never been there before. To them, it's something new and exciting and it makes it so much more enjoyable to see their smiles widen more than usual when you tell them: "Let's go to the park" or "Let's go swimming"
It's wonerful.
