Man I am full of excitement and good news these past few days!!!! whee
My first Monday at home I went back to my highschool's tech center and visited my old machine shop teacher. I talked to him a few weeks ago about helping me find a summer job (since manufacturing is what I am studying) When I got there on Monday he already had two potential employments for me to look into. One is at this place near where I live that makes chasing dials for lathes, and the second is a CNC place about 20 minutes away from me called Prefix. Yesterday I went back down to the shop and met with some people from Prefix. Me, and a couple of other students still in school are looking to get hired there. So far they seem really interested! biggrin Man I am excited! I just hope it all works.
My sister and I are bonding again. These past couple of days we have been out playing frisbee and hanging out together. I like my younger sis, she is pretty cool to hang out with. We always have been pretty close for the most part. though we do have our times when we are about to rip eachothers hair out. It's just all part of being a sister.
Brad I think is pretty much out of my life now. I haven't talked to him since Tuesday evening. Monday was a good day for us. I told him I was job hunting that day. He called me part way through the day and asked how the hunt was going and wished me good luck. Then we talked again for a while that evening and had a good conversation. Everything seemed normal between us. Tuesday I decided that I would call him just to say hi and he got all pissy with me and started up with that "I don't want to be friends anymore crap" I thought we had been through that a couple of times before and agreed to just remain friends. I was pretty much over him anyways and friendship was all I wanted. Well now I am letting him have it his way. Yesterday I put together a bix box of everything he has ever given me from presents down to the letters and shipped it off to him. It is all gone. Unless he comes to me, I no longer have anything to do with him. I am tired off the bullshit. 3nodding
