Just wanna say that people in my generation really disappoint me sometimes. I fear for the next generation. There's very little civility anymore...people don't hold any respect for their parents, authority figures, their peers, or those looking up to them. This is from an MSN convo today...I'm changing my friend's name for privacy, and mine for length whee :
Friend says: Hey Me says: heya Friend says: Whats up? Me says: writing a paper Me says: you? Friend says: Nothing, just loged into SL. I'am kind of BORED lol Me says: lol Friend says: Didnt go to school either *Sigh* Me says: aw Friend says: Yeah at first i didnt want to get up, then me and my mom started to fight and she was talking s**t so i just got realy pissed and said ******** YOU I'AM NOT ******** GOING b***h Me says: sad Friend says: SO now only one more unexused absent befor ei probably will be put into a program *sigh*
I want to slap some sense into the kid...he's in high school. It's his job to go to school. It's also expected of him that he should obey and respect his mother whether he agrees with her or not...not to fight. People are so selfish about getting their way right when they want it. This could be society's fault, or their parents' faults. Respecting others just seems like something everyone should naturally do, to me. Maybe it's just me. >_> Anyway...I feel like I'm just going in circles now, so...this is it. xp
