Part 1
It was a rainy day. All I remember is my step-father's hand against my face. "GET OUT!" He shouted as he pushed me out of my own home. "Gladly!" I grabbed my backpack and started to walk away. I heard my mother scream at him and try to run after me. He stopped her and pulled her inside. "Why did you ever adopt her?" He glared at me. "I will not have a, a freak inside this house!" I paused to look at my mother, her head was down and tears fell down her face. "GoodBye.." she said in a quivering (sp?) voice. I couldn't take it anymore. We lived a perfect life before he came. I tried to control it, but the tears came anyway. As I walked out of my village I grew scared. "Where am I going to go?" I sighed. A hand landed on my shoulder, "You okay, kid?" Quickly, I looked up to see a woman with black hair. I also noticed her eyes, 1 green, 1 blue. They were comferting ,and sad at the same time. "Well I..... I'm alittle lost." I looked at the unfamilier (sp?) forest around me. She sighed, "Well if that's the case, you should come with me." she continued down the road. I stood there shocked, nobody in my village ,except for my mom, treated me like a person. "Are you coming?" she turned. I smiled and ran after her. "Thank you! My name is Suki, Seda. What's your na-" She interupted, "Are you going to talk the entire way?" I closed my mouth and looked at the ground. "*sigh* My name is Etta, Yuki." she looked up into the sky. "The rain stopped..." I whispered. We walked the rest of the way in silence.
