I hate Chinese people who don't know anything about their own culture.

They can't speak Chinese at all, don't even care to learn. Have misconceptions about China, HK, Taiwan, etc. Are white-washed to the extent where they are basically just exactly like white people.

I like people who respect their parents in the aspect that most of the parents had to work really hard to give a better life for their children. I know my parents basically only got grade school education and wants me to graduate from college to find a good and relaxing job. Not some job that requires a lot of manual labor.

I think I'm more critical to Chinese people because I understand them the most than others like Japanese or British cultures. I just hate the fact that people don't want to learn their native culture/language just because you are in America or it has no use in the future. It is good to learn about your past to see where you come from. I don't want people to lose their roots. Like Chinese, one of the oldest if not the oldest culture in the whole world. You should be proud of where you come from. I know there are plenty of people who don't know where they come from or are just a mix of everything 1%, 15%, 25%, etc...adding up to 100% of something.

Don't know...this is one of those things I feel passionately about. But writing it down instead of saying it is akward. I've come to realize my English is definately poor despite being born in America. Even have an accent...haha
