My Rants/Thoughts
Anything I'm feeling

Blake was held up by the neck and Melody being crushed by his foot. Amy had to choose. Her best friend, or her lover. "Choose," he said. Amy, after 15 minutes, chose Blake. Blake was thrown into Amy's arms and he shifted all his weight onto Melody's neck, breaking it. She was motionless. and he smiled and walked away. Amy and Blake left her there.

3 weeks later, Blake and Amy were now engaged, and Amy had almost forgotten about Melody. But she found herself sitting next to her phone and always checking her online messages, as if waiting for her to come back. Amy continued her normal life at school but also found herself imagining Melody sitting right infront of her at lunch or right next to her before school, in the gym. Melody was her follower, someone she could tell things too. She almost always followed Amy around. But everytime she looked back to see her, she was gone. Sometimes she'd hear Melody's laughter as she talked with Megan, and Chloi. But she'd look back smiling, to see their sad faces as it was another one of their friends' laughter. Even, Sarah couldn't help. Blake helped her forget, not heal.

2 more weeks passed and Amy couldn't stop seeing her. She was sitting infront of her during lunch, that seat had not been sat in. When someone asked if someone was sitting there, Amy would reply yes. Satine sat at the head of the table, but she couldn't smile, Sarah tried to smile, as did Chloi, but Melody's friends couldn't. None of them could. Amy found herself spending more time with Blake, as if trying to forget.

Blake and Amy were finally married. As they were walking home, Amy ran into someone while she was deep in thought. She looked up from the ground, and saw Blake pulling her up. The other person pulled herself up and looked at Amy. Amy looked into the eyes of Melody. Melody looked at her, then at Blake, then back at Amy. She said sorry and continued on her way. Amy saw that she dropped a note and picked it up. She yelled "Melody" and Melody stopped. She turned around as Amy ran to her. "This is yours", she said. Melody didn't smile.

"Keep it." She replied. She even sounded like Melody. "I have no use for it." She continued. "It's an old note, that my friend wrote. She told me that one day, she would take all of us, me and my old friends, and leave. And leave this place. She promised. And then it turned out that she lied." Melody continued on her way. Amy, still fazed that it was Melody, watched her, and saw that Melody wiped a tear away and continued walking. "I don't like people watching me!" Amy could hear the tears in her voice. Melody turned around and showed her tears. "I said I don't like people watching me!" Amy felt her heart drop.

"Amy, let's go. Just leave her alone." Melody fell to the ground in tears. Amy ran to her and Blake sighed and followed. Melody ran off from them dropping her bag.

"That is Melody....She's back." Blake shook her head trying to help Amy forget.

Melody was at school the next day, but she sat alone. Satine tried going to her, but Amy pulled her back. "Don't.... She'll be okay." Satine nodded and waited for the classes to start.

The teacher greeted the class like normal and she didn't even notice Melody sitting at her desk taking notes. Or at least, that's what everyone else saw. Amy leaned over to see what Melody was doing. She knew Melody didn't take notes unless they were for a grade. Melody was writing a story. Amy sent her a note.

Amy: So, what's the title?
Melody: The Prayer Of A Broken Heart.
Amy: What's it about?
Melody: If I say I'll let you read it later, will you stop bugging me?
Amy: Yes.
Melody: Then, you can read it later, at lunch. I still have my old seat right?
Amy: It was like you were never gone.

Melody let out a small laugh. Then hid the note in her backpack and began writing again.

Lunch came to quick for Melody. She gave Amy the binder, but quickly withdrew it. "Promise not to laugh?" Amy nodded. She handed back to her and left without a word. Satine said she just dissappeared. She turned the corner and no one saw her through the glass windows. Amy began to read, but soon read aloud.

Prayer For A Broken Heart

How we were captured, no one knew. But we were. It took 3 weeks for Melody's body to recover and she watched over Amy. And almost got caught for laughing at something Chloi said to Megan. Amy turned around and Melody hid. She sat down in her seat a couple of times and listened to her friends, but quickly left when Amy began to see. 2 weeks after that, her body was complete and she could come back. But when she did, she saw Amy having fun with Blake and completely lost all her joy. Though she knew that Amy would never put Blake below anyone, she had a hatred for Blake. She felt like someone was taking her best friend away from her. Finally, Amy got to read Melody's last prayer, while Melody disappeared from existence. Like she was never there to begin with. The only thing that ties her to this world is Amy's memories, in that book. The Last Prayer Of A Broken Heart."
