Now, I've never laid claim to be a ladies man. I'm a little to over-mannish, from my love of fast cars and machines to raunchy comedy to ever build much of a rtelationship. S'ok, A quick romance is fine, and I'm only sixteen, so BAH, I got plenty of time. But, I must say, women, you want TOO MUCH. My last girlfriend actually made me have dinner with her and her parents, without my knowledge about the parents being there. Now, having dinner at someone's house? Fine. Haveing dinner at your girlfriend's house? Also fine. Going out on the town with your girlfriend's parents without knowing beforehand you'd be spending an hour with them? NOT FINE. I had biked my way there, a good twenty minute ride, sweaty and tired from work, and WHO do I see at the table at the little outdoor eat-n-go? YEAH. So, for about an hour, I TRY to come up with conversation topics, to no avail, because the old man's a golfer, and I think the only thing we have in common is our gender. So, for an hour, awkwardness ensued.
What I'm getting at is that women want too much commitment. Sure sometimes it's nice. But NOT at sixteen, and NOT after only three weeks of bare-bones dating. AND FOR THAT MATTER, women don't seem to like it when MEN try and commit first, do they? "Things are moving too fast for me." BULLPIE. It's just not YOU making the decision. ANywho, glad to get that otu of my system. Maybe I can get to something more thoughtful and enlightening next issue, perhaps?
