Me, Myself, and I

I have many interests including: music, drawing, reading, sewing, traveling, acting, math, and science. I love music and play violin (9 years), piano (5 years), and guitar (3 years). I am also composing a piece for the piano. I also draw occasionally but don't really show much of my work, I have some of my work on my DeviantArt, although there isn't anything too recent up. I began acting at the beginning of the school year and will continue to do so at least until I graduate. I love to read. I used to read a lot more than I read now though. I am currently reading The Pleasure of Finding Things Out and a book that talks about each element on the periodic table. Ever since last year I have been very into math and science, especially anything that is challenging. I am viewed by most as a relatively crazy and ridiculous person, especially by my friends.

I have three brothers and a half brother, all older. I have three cats: Pumpkin, Merlin, and K2.

In March of this year (2007) I went to New Orleans to help clean up. Even though it had been 18 months since Katrina, it was a mess. It was a really powerful trip and I wrote about it in my LiveJournal (the entries are in March). New Orleans is such an amazing place but it's currently a mess everywhere but the French Quarter.

I went to the National Student Leadership Conference last summer in Colorado and will be going again this year but to Washington, D.C.
