Once Upon a Time
A Soquili Halloween Event

Down the dusty trails near the Kawani village, a lonely rickety wagon traveled along, pulled by two soquili in a slow casual manor, followed by a procession of cloaked soquili. Bells chimed softly from the wagon, drawing the attention of curious soquili who fell in line after the procession as it drew itself to a stop in the cleared land beside the remnant of the Carnival before it, the faded Tunnel of Love becoming the backdrop of the small camp being set up.

As Night fell, The Storyteller Soquili bared his fangs in a smile, opening up the traveling library. He selected a lightly flickering book, the odd objects floating and flickering with ethereal flame as they were selected, and opened the tattered tome delicately with a claw.

Clearing his throat, he met the eyes of the onlookers, pleased with the outcome. Nodding at his companions, he flared his wings dramatically, "Once Upon a Time..."

General Rules:

1. Be polite and respectful.
2. No refunds will be given.
3. Up to 3 people may co-own in auction and up to 2 for all other sales.
4. A single person is allowed to own or co-own ONLY ONE from each area: Auction, Paid Raffle, Freebies, and Familiars. (The monthly flaffle will not count toward game prizes.) So the max you can walk away with is 3 Soquili and 1 Familiar!
5. Don't be stupid. (see rule 1 for more details).
6. Please read through the first page if you have any questions. If you still have questions after that, feel free to PM the mule.
7. Even if the Event runs into November, the prizes count to October.

Freebie/Games Rules:

1. Be polite and respectful.
2. You can win only one freebie from the games and one familiar.
3. You may only co-own the freebie with ONE other person...and it counts toward both.
4. If you win a freebie and give it to someone specific, it counts as both your freebie.
5. You can opt to pass on the freebie, with no control on who it goes to, to try and win another. But you can only do this ONCE.
6. Don't be stupid. (see rule 1 for more details).
7. Please read through the first page of games you're participating in. Any questions regarding them should be pm'd to this mule, or the person running the game.

Auction Rules:

1. Don't bid what you don't have.
2. Up to 3 people may co-own an auction, and everyone is limited to owning/co-owning 1 auction pet from this event.
3. Up to 24 items max may be used in a bid. If you cant fit it all in 2 trades, then IT JUST WON'T WORK, OK?
4. Items will be valued at lowest MP price*. Only Monthly Collectibles/Letters are accepted, no Event, Evolving items, Cash Shop items, or RIG items!
5. No cheering, booing, or mentioning of others lack or excess of funds in thread. That would be awkward and quite rude, so keep it out or I'll keep you out ):<
6. Snipe-guard of 15 minutes will be placed into effect at each auction's ending.
7. Payment is due within 24 hours, the pet goes back up for sale.
*If the item is obviously overinflated on the MP or not available at all, the auction's colorist at that time will assist in deciding the value of that item

Freebie/Games Rules:

Raffle Rules
Tickets will be purchased in a separate thread. When the raffle is open, I will link the thread in the raffle post.
1. Tickets are unlimited; you may buy for yourself or others.
2. Payment must be PURE ONLY, and each ticket is 100 gold each. So if you're buying 100 tickets, you'll be paying 100 gold x 100 tickets = 10,000 gold payment. 1,000 tickets would be 100k, 10,000 tickets would be 1 million.
3. You may only win once in the raffle, and are only eligible to own/co-own up to 1 horse in the raffle section of the event.
4. If you fail to send the proper amount, I WILL cancel the trade, but you're free to try again (so please check your math...please? ;; )
5. All trades are to be sent to this account.
6. You must order a minimum of 20 tickets per order.

An otherworldly beast steals one of your soq's babies in the night and replaces it with a changeling. Once the hatching occurs, will your soq decide to keep the changeling foal or go on a quest to get their real baby back? It is up to you!
Note: the changeling foal would be rehomed by the shop to a newbie if you decide to find your real foal.

"...The End." The storyteller chuckled, closing the tattered tome with a solid thunk before setting it back into the wagon. Meeting eyes with one of his members with a conspiratory gleam in his eyes as he took another book up, the cracked leather creaking as he opened it, slicing it slightly with his talons, "Perhaps this tale will please our esteemed guests..."

As the Storyteller wove more tales of horror and delight, his inky maned co-conspirator smiled darkly, her very being tipped and edged in inky shadows which shifted and traveled, her scales making the soft rustling noise of paper as she traveled through the audience slowly, creating shadowy forms out of the corner of their vision, savoring the shrieks and shivers they provided....
