Unfortunately, part of my laptop decided to break on me. As a direct result, the time I spend on Gaia will be limited from little to no time after a certain time I sent somewhere to be repaired. Sorry 'bout that.
EDIT: Okay, the laptop is in for repairs now. May take 1-3 weeks. But I found a way I can still process and complete orders. Yay. biggrin

For yourself or as a gift for a friend, Lucan Inc. Multimedia adds a special flare to your Profile! PM me the following needed information, or post it here, whichever you prefer. However, I will be MUCH more likely to respond to a PM, as your request here may get lost in a sea of bumps...

Base Price: 10K (10,000g, or its equivalent in the combination of tradeable items and gold... it's negotiable a bit...)

Upgrades:
Upgrades can be done at any time, at the beginning of the order, or well after the order is done! If you do it during the order, I'll ask that you add the gold then. If not, we can do a seperate trade, and I'll update it. Any change to a different for of an upgrade (example of Alt Corners to another Alt Corners color) is half of the original cost.

Alt Corners: By default, Corners are always white. However, such may not blend in with the design. Pay the corner fee of 500g, and I'll match the predominant color of your background to the four corners of the Multimedia. Just mention it in the upgrades section

Navigation Logo (not yet available for purchase): A five part menu for your visitors to use to get places! One of these five menu links is always a link to Lucan Inc., so they can get the same quality work you did! If you choose to get this upgrade, state the label you choose for each of the four other links, and the url they link to. (The price for this upgrade is intended to be 2000g.)

Couples (not yet available for purchase): Yes, a shared Multimedia, that you can both display! I... don't have too many details yet on this... (The price for this upgrade is intended to be 7000g.)

Music: Okay, I contacted some mods over this matter:

Lord Yawgmoth: Well we really don't discourage any type of music. The very flexable PG-13 regulation would allow for most songs I'd think. For your second question I suppose adding or giving credit to the creator of the song would suffice enough to discourage copyright punishments. So, I include credit to the song in the Multimedia too.

Nobara: We follow the Fair Use policy as set up by U.S. copyright laws. Pretty much, you have to give proper credit to whoever's music you're using. As long as you're not claiming to have the rights to the music, you should be okay.

Have Your Pi: As a sound, it's kosher; as a shareable file, it's not. The whole issue with copyright is handing out the music for free. As long as the file cannot be downloaded or shared through the profile, you're safe. One better alternative (if you can) would be to create a MIDI transcription. That way, you're conveying the song without stealing the actual recording. I don't know how easy that would be for you, though.

borobdin: If you think that using a certain song will violate copyright, then you probably shouldn't use it. The admins haven't set out a clear policy in relation to the multimedia section yet. But obviously the TOS exists. However, for the most part, most music companies and/or artists haven't pursued violations in flash movies on the internet, esp. if they are not for profit. Basically it breaks down like this. The mods don't remove potential copyright violating multimedia currently, but that does not mean it is allowed and does not protect the user from potentially facing the consequences of violating copyright laws.

So, I've got a lot of different answers... great...

So, you must send me the music file to be added, and info about the artist, band, album, and name of song. The price for this upgrade is 6000g, and I do hope that when finished, the upgrade makes your profile music to your ears.
Music is proving to be too much of a pain to add, and I don't want to risk being banned over this. Sorry, folks. Also, the only reason I might ever have music on mine if I do is because I composed it myself.

Events: Sometimes, special events will happen here, where you can get a themed profile. These happen randomly, and cost an odd lesser price, instead of 10k of the normal profile. However, the background is predetermined on these profiles. Here is a history of special event profiles, and a brief description of each.
Snow White: Snow rains down from the sky in a woodland scene.
Snow White Plus: Snow rains down from the sky in a woodland scene, and accumulates on the bottom of the screen.

Trade Order:
You begin the trade, of the gold. (And send me a PM or tell me you want a Multimedia in the trade title)
I do the work on the item, and watermark it. I send you a PM with the link to the watermarked work, and I accept the trade.
You confirm you want the work (or ask for the needed changes, as long as they aren't absurd), and finish the trade.
I remove the watermarks, and you're good to go, to put it in your Multimedia section.
And we're both happy.

3) Dice Discount: Roll ten 20-sided dice. If you get between a 50 and a 60, subtract the number you got from 60. Then multiply it by 1k. That's how much your Multimedia will cost. (For example, if you get a 53, your Multimedia will cost 3k.) This discount applies until the end of the month the dice were rolled in.

40k: Finish up my Joker Hat White-Black quest.
20k: Create the Lucan Inc. Personalized Art and Graphics Guild (LIPAGG), a place for artisans of all different personalization minishops to come and have another home, a more communal setting, to make friends and affiliates. Like the personalization forum, but with a lot more emphasis on art trading over selling. Affiliates will be getting the first invitiations.
