Welcome to our art contest thread! We have decided to hold a contest for couple art!
We love all art so everything is accepted as long as it is of BOTH of us. Couple Art Only. heart Approximately 4.6 million in pure gold and monthly collectibles!

Updates:
8/8: Contest is officially OVER! It is now judging time. I have to go away for 4 days but when I get back for Sunday, awards will be announced. biggrin
8/5: Contest is fully updated and I've got my internet. :3 All entries must be in by 11:59 PST on August 7.
7/30: I went through all the back-paegs and gathered up all the entry forms (which are now added to the front page but not to the Contest Gallery) since a lot of people were PMing about why their entry form wasn't added. sweatdrop I apologize that I can't comment on the artworks right now but thank you very much to everyone who has entered while I haven't had internet access. heart A finished update will be possible whenever I get my internet at home. :3
7/28: Still no internet and no one has come by to fix the signal problem. Contest will be extended by one week until I can get my internet up and running. I apologize for the delay but there isn't anything I can do about it but wait since I can't even update the new entries yet. sad There will be no more extensions and ALL ENTRIES must be finished by the new deadline of Aug. 7 .
7/26: Still no internet.. At the library again. I still can't update, see, or save any new entries and I apologize. The internet/cable service provider can't find a signal through the cable connections so it will be 2-3 days for someone to come out and try to fix it... possibly more time. I will post an announcement again in a few days.
7/23: At the library to give an update. The internet/cable company can't come until the 26th so I will be without internet for 3 more days.

7/19: Moving to Louisiana. Lack of internet until the 23rd so I won't be able to check entries/update until then. whee
7/11/07: Since no one has entered the 'Avatar Edit' category, I'm removing this category and adding the prize to another 'Best Chibi' category since so many people have made chibis! Also added a Chibi 3rd prize. heart

1. Use the Entry Form to submit your entries. You may enter as many times as you wish. Each entry can only win one prize.
2. Entries must include JustPlainJoe AND Mivaelianyn to be eligible to win prizes.
3. You may only draw Mivaelianyn and JustPlainJoe (not your own characters, etc.).
4. No stealing. Art theft will not be tolerated. Violators will be reported and disqualified from the art contest. All artwork must be of your own creation, but you may do collaborations with other artists. I am not responsible for the splitting up of the winnings if a collaboration were to win.
5. If your entry is above PG-13, please PM it to Mivaelianyn.
The Terms of Service state: Absolutely no hentai/pornography but artistic nudity is allowed.
All entries are displayed in the PhotoBucket album in the Contest Entries Post. Entries that contain mature content will be censored for public display in the album.
6. Entries will be judged by Mivaelianyn, JustPlainJoe, Creme de la Chrome, and a few other close friends if they want to participate.
7.No whining, flaming, or saying negative comments about other people's art.

Anything Else You Want To Say(optional): The original picture is 14x17" Bristol... so it was too big for my scanner and I had to take an actual picture of it, lol, and trying to make it whiter didn't work out because it originally was in sepia tone for some reason. I don't really like how the scan ended up... but I can't really do anything about it. If only I could, like, actually give it to you. The Tattoos say Miv and Joe, Miv's name is the end piece of the Devil's Tail with horns, and Joe's is in two wings, both tattoos resembling a heart... I didn't know if you could tell. The pose for this was taken off of an Artistic Nude Portrait of two guys from deviant art. Also, thank you luck or whatever for finding this, because I love the characters and their ideas and I really needed to draw something on that piece of paper.
