Sun, April 8, 2007 - Construction of shop begins

...With a final slash at the large steel grey incarnate of evil, Amaterasu watched with the new burst of prayer from the inhabitants of Nippon as Yami mutely cried out as the final blow was struck. The darkness within melted away, as did the pure being of all the world's evil: Yami. Her ears flickered as she turned towards the floating platform approached her; the last survivor of the crashing of the Ark of Yamato, Waka, called out to her...
The tale of Okami Amaterasu is widely known, of how she is the great Shiranui reborn; her great defeats of Orochi, Blight, Ninetails, and even the great evil that was Yami. Though, what isn't told among those legends; is one that started long ago... and still thrives today...
What the mortals of Nippon are never told about, is that hundreds of years ago a fox brush god had been unrightly accused of helping the cursed Moon Tribe into the Mortal World. He was outcasted from the Celestial Planes for a crime he had not committed.
His name? Burakumin.
The Fox Brush God, mind plauged by thoughts of vengence, sought out the only source that had more power then the Celestial Gods themselves. The Lord of Darkness, Yami. In exchange for the the great power, a part of Yami's soul had been merged in with his own. Driving him on to carry out his revenge on the Brush Gods.
With the strong surge of power, Burakumin was forced to a comatic-like state so the sudden power hadn't drove the fox completely insane. He lay dorment underneath the village of Weep'ker, awaiting the day when his power would be most effective. Though, what Burakumin hadn't predicted was waiting hundreds of years for the break in the comatic spell. Over the years of lying in dorment, the evil power began to taint him.
When he finally awoke from his years of sleep, he found dramatic changes within himself. A trail of smoke wafted after him wherever he went, an unremoveable white mask with blue markings had been placed upon his head. The red lines that marked him as a brush god had inverted colors and had become a sinister shade of blue against his brown fur. His frame had become much more lithe and thin, and his tail, when swept upon living things, tainted them and made them writhe. A large, black collar now hung around his neck, a few links of a chain brushing against his fur.
With this new-found power, Burakumin set out to the Ark of Yamato where he felt a calling was awaiting for him. But upon arriving to the place where the giant boat had been set in the frozen lake, to his dismay the boat had been sailed. A large lake filled with broken-up ice now replaced it. However, he was full of anger, full of vengance. And a need to restore what had been casted out of this world by the troublesome Goddess of the sun. What had to be restored was the shadows, the chaos...
What he needed to restore... was Yami.

Danke is a nekomata who enjoys nothing more than gleefuly mutilating coloring other people's pictures for them. She likes to lurk in dark corners and follow people around until they give her food.
