Because really, the concept of having a kittenbaby is a distinctly appealing one.

For months, I've been stalking the

(click the button! it's a link!) thread in the Breedable/Changing Pets forum. It's a unique and interesting concept, allowing RP characters to have biological children of their own, and providing art of the children (by the very talented staff artists) as they grow up.

Flatsales don't cost much, and are based on writing skill and luck. Writing I'm decent at; the luck part's passed me over so far, though. I'm hoping to have a chance at an auction. The problem? Auctions have been known to go into the millions. So. Prox quests!

Update on prices [4/14]: The autobuy for an anthro baby by Sabin is 5 million; the last auction ended a bit under 6 mill. Therefore, I'm setting my goal to 5 million. @.@ Ouch.

Update [5/3]: Autobuy - a lionfish mask of any type, an August '03, or a Red Rose Corsage. Um. Soul for sale, slightly tarnished, anyone want it?

It seems like an impossible quest, sure. But I'm stubborn. wink I've been wanting this for some months now. There's always the chance that I'll be able to finangle a spot some way besides an auction, but I can't count on that, so here I am.

As to whys and wherefores? It's a well-built concept, and a roleplay structure that I'd really like to be part of. Sure, I could draw Prox and Arri's child myself, play the character, and have it be a canon part of my storylines. However, I'd like to be part of the GMFC game, rather than doing my own solitary thing. I'd like the child to have other characters to interact with and grow up around. In short: I love the community.
