Name: Astaroth
Meaning: Astaroth is a demon of Biblical legend who was (unfairly, in his eyes) dismissed from a high position in Hell.
Reborn on: 14 February, 2003.
Past Identity: Yan Lao, Chinese King of Hell - The Demon Dragon of the Western Seas.
Age: currently a youth, physically appears around 19-23
Height: Around 6ft. Tall for his age, but not towering.
Species: Fa'e (reborn demon dragon)
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Homosexual
Status: single, ex-lovers Mordath & Morion
Likes: expensive clothes, fine foods, the best wines, sharp pointy weapons, death and destruction, sex, and getting his way.
Dislikes: cuteness, rules, hugs, goody-two-shoes, being treated like a kid or overlooked, being weak.

Guardian: Kalindaralaea, aka. Kali
Guardian Beast: Baal, a Nightmare dragon reborn from the remains of Yan Lao's old bodyguard/general

Usual Clothing: He prefers to dress in an oriental style. Roth used to prefer Chinese-styled outfits of tunics over pants to make it easier for him to fight in, but currently likes Oriental robes. He likes them revealing without being crass - either open robes with something underneath, robes left mostly undone, or see-through robes over something still enough to preserve his modesty. He prefers it all highly embroidered and very expensive looking... Yes, he's an elitist brat.

Personality:
This Fa'e was born to rule and he knows it - instinctively even before he discovered who he had been in his past life. He can be a typical spoiled brat at times, but don't let that hide the Machiavellian streak running through him. He knows what he wants and how to get it - namely, how to manipulate or intimidate others into giving him what he wants. He's very regal but with that hint of cold superiority - he drives others away from him, but often ends up very lonely as a result. His pride won't let him do anything else though, unless he judges people worthy enough to be his allies.

You can bet he has his evil moods. His perfect world has everyone following his orders. He adores all the finer things in life - good food, fine wine, lazing around and having people wait on him hand and foot. He loves all kinds weapons, even though he's only proficient with a few. Be careful though, because he's not adverse to using them on the other Fa'e if they rub him the wrong way.

Of course, countering his darker moods are some nicer ones, but generally not in public - only around those he truly trusts. He is protective of those he considers 'his' and likes to reward people who help or support him by presenting them with gifts. His allies have seen this less-harsh side to him, though only the closest (Yin/Yan and Roth's exes) have seen him truly being nice.

Deep down, Roth is just as judgmental of himself as he can be of others. He pushes himself so hard because he knows that he is not worthy of ruling Hell at this stage. Even though he did win the position back from Lusifah, he knows it was only through the aid of his mother and his allies. He is tormented by weaker emotions, which he knows he cannot afford. While there are things he will not give up (such as Mordath and his allies) he knows he must find ways to release his true potential and reclaim the powers and personality needed to truly be the King of Hell.

Morality:
Raised firstly on demon morals, and then on Kali's draconic morals in his second life, Roth is what most people would consider 'immoral'. He doesn't see it that way of course - for him, the right thing to do is what other people would consider the 'wrong' thing to do. As a demon and the King of Hell, Roth is well aware that being cold and violent is _right_ for him. This is one of the reasons why he cannot stand to have people judge him or preach to him - he is far more well-equipped to judge his actions from his viewpoint. How can anyone else tell him what is right or wrong if they don't know who he is or what he must eventually do?

This is not to say that everything Roth does is 'evil' (by the standards of others). He has his own code of honour, very Oriental in many ways. He believes in being polite to guests, which is why his verbal attacks are more often underhanded or satiric rather than the outright insults of someone like Aadil. Those who are close to him deserve his unswerving loyalty and protection. He also takes a break of that loyalty very seriously, and often very badly, as evidenced when he was mistreated (in his eyes) by Mordath over Purr-Purr.

Innate Physical Abilities:
Physically, Astaroth has a slight increase in strength and agility over a human. It wasn't much though, so the rest has to be earned through hard training, just like anyone else. His sight and hearing are also slightly better than a human's - or maybe he's just paranoid and pays more attention to such things XD

The only truly innate abilities he has were knowing how to use certain weapons favoured in his past life - the spear and the Chinese sword, specifically. (He is also fairly good with throwing knifes, but that is something he taught himself this life, and he's not on Aadil's level with them.) And although he could remember how to use them, he still had to retrain himself to be _able_ to use them, eg. building up his muscles and getting his new body used to the movements. He couldn't simply pick up the weapon and use it straight away, as became evident in his initial duel with Silver. Roth is often found in Kali's gardens, training.

Magical Abilities:
Banshee-like Scream: As a baby, Roth's only ability was a piercing, almost-sonic scream - much like a banshee. Kali theorised - and Roth later confirmed - that it was a defense mechanism for newborn demons, so that rival demons could not assassinate each others' children. Roth lost this power when he became a child.

Hellfire: Roth's main power was discovered at the toddler stage - the ability to summon Hellfire and weild it against others. At first the power was linked to his emotions, namely to anger. When his temper went off, things got flamey. Growing older, he learned to better control this power. He can now summon it at will and has better control of its form - though he still has yet to fully master the talent. Thanks to this realm of speciality, Roth also has a certain level of immunity to normal kinds of fire.

Teleporting: Envious of Kali's phasing ability, Roth absorbed knowledge (not literally) from books as a toddler to learn his own method of teleportation. It is a limited ability however, so Roth cannot use it very often and generally has to know exactly where he is going (ie. have visited there already). The power has a tendancy to misfire if Roth tries to break these unspoken 'rules' - he and Yin once ended up lost in a deep jungle because Roth couldn't handle what he was trying to do. He has been very careful about using it since then, normally only using it to go between his home, Fa'e HQ and the homes of his allies.

Soul Manipluation: It was discovered during a quest to help Purr-Purr and Raeith that Roth can sense souls and soul-bonds. At the moment, it is limited to the souls of fa'e he knows well (such as Raeith's, during the quest) and he cannot do anything other than sense them at this stage. Roth believes it must be because he used to have dominion over all the souls residing in Hell and is looking forward to finding out what else he can do, in time. So far, it is the least used and least useful of his powers. When it develops further, Roth will find that he can only really do anything with souls currently in Hell. So basically, dead and 'bad' souls.

Special Possessions:
- Lunar Spear: This weapon was retrieved from Hell during Roth's visit. It belonged to Yan Lao and was the demon's chosen weapon. Broken during Yan Lao's first duel with Lusifah, Roth used the pieces to kill his enemy in their second duel. When Roth reappeared in HQ as a teen, he carried the spear with him - now fixed or reforged. Roth doesn't like to let the weapon out of his sight and can sense its presence as he senses souls (there was an ancient Oriental belief that powerful weapons had souls of their own).

- Whip: Nothing special, just one of Yan Lao's toys >;3

- Chinese Broadsword: The weapon given to him at his child stage was a large sword of Chinese fashion. Roth became very good at using it, but knew it was not his true weapon as his link to it was not very strong. It is currently embedded in the foyer of their home, thanks to a temper tantrum from Roth after a fight with Mordath.

Weaknesses:
Character weaknesses: Roth possesses several character weaknesses, such as greed, lust and a superiority complex. As Kali and several other fa'e have shown over the course of Roth's life, it is possible to manipulate him through such characteristics. It can't be done all the time, as Roth has a sound sense of politics and is fairly paranoid. But several people have been skillful enough to do this without Roth recognising a thing.

Multi-tasking: Instead of mastering one particular field of study, Roth has chosen to learn many different skills. He studies his powers (not quite magic, but a similar kind of thing) and physical weaponry equally, so while he is good at both, his skills in either area will be less than someone who has devoted themselves to just one. This is not always a weakness, as Roth will have alternatives to fall back on, but it can become one if his opponent is truly skilled in one area and knows how to avoid Roth trying to take advantage of the second (eg. a strong magic-user keeping Roth at a distance so he cannot attack physically).

Personality/Popularity: Roth is not a friendly fa'e. He has no need of 'friends' and can be quite dismissive and snide towards other fa'e - even downright malicious and dangerous. As a result, he has few allies and admirers. He probably has a greater number of people who dislike, fear or hate him. Even his allies are not exempt from his off-putting ways, and he has had several arguments and "cooling off times" with some of them. Perhaps not quite a weakness, but a downfalling of Roth's should the people he antagonises ever decide to do something back to him. As Lenore recently pointed out, his dismissive attitude also has the drawback of making his allies think he does not need/want their help. Nyoka has previously assumed that Roth could handle whatever had caused him to disappear for so long, so she did not seek him out.

Holy: Weapons or powers that use Holy magic are the polar opposite of Roth's being. These kinds of attacks will hurt him more than any other kind. Seeing them used will also unhinge Roth slightly, sending him into one of his "freak out" moods (seen when Aylana tried to enter his mind, and when Yin first used her Holy magic on him).

Past Life: under construction

Kalindaralaea (kal-IND-a-ra-LIE-ah) aka Kali.

Gender: Female
Age: a few hundred years old, appears early to mid 20's
Height: 5' 7"
Eyes: Grey, but they flash silver when angry or using magic.
Hair: So dark an auburn as to be almost black in the shadows, with wine-red highlights. Her hair falls to mid waist, and is thick and wavy (very loosely curly closer to the ends).
Skin Tone: Golden brown (very tanned with a slight golden tinge).
Special Markings: Thin scars along her shoulder blades, where her wings used to be.

Usual Clothing: Kali's original preferred style of clothing was Victorian-Gothic themed, though easy to move in, such as men's shirts, tight pants and hooded cloaks for extra security. Since taking on Astaroth (her fa'e son), Kali sometimes adopts his Oriental style. She likes to change styles frequently, not sticking with the one kind for long.

Dragon Form: A very large, pale gold dragon, Kali had silver cat-slit eyes and dark red crests/ridges and wing membranes. Her species of dragon are a graceful, stylised form of European dragons. Her claws are also silver in colour.

Powers: As a dragon, Kali's main influence was air/wind, with a touch of fire. Like all her kin she was also proficient at phasing (a method of teleportation) and remains so in human form. Her studies focused on creating and breaking wards.

Personality: Kali is not a happy dragon, er, person. She has the typical arrogance and temper of dragons, which originally left her with a disgust of her "pathetic, mortal, human body". She used to regard humans as being beneath her and being forced to deal with them on a daily basis was really quite aggravating. Time has dulled the edge of her temper though and Kali has to tolerate and even like some humans. Neither evil nor good, Kali was neutrally aligned, though mostly out for herself of course. Rather cynical, she has a natural darkness tempered by lighter moments.

History: A rite-of-passage for young dragons is the ability to transfer the majority of their magic into a special artifact, leaving them in their secondary 'human', though winged, state. During her rite of passage Kali's artifact was stolen, leaving her trapped in a human body and without most of her magic. Using what little powers she has left, Kali tracked the villain responsible to the human realm.

Facing down her opponent, Kali's wings were cut off. This meant the loss of even more power, as well as the end to her hopes of restoring her power and returning home. Even the recovery of the stolen artifact couldn't help Kali and she resigned herself to spending the rest of her unnatural life in the human realm.

Baal
Baal is a Nightmare dragon who appeared during Roth's quest to Hell. It was revealed that Baal used to be the bodyguard of Yan Lao, able to shift between flesh and stone forms until 'killed' by Lusifah. Now Baal is the same size as Astarte, though much more intelligent... and dangerous.

User Image
Astarte
A gift from Kali when Roth was mad at her, Astarte is a small kitten-sized dragon. She is very possessive of Roth, diving and swooping at people who get too close to him - especially females. (She didn't seem to realise it was males she actually needed to be keeping away...) Only to Roth is she affectionate, though she tolerates some others such as Kali and Mordath.

Verdan
A Christmas gift from Morion, Verdan is the only male Wingzelle to be born so far (a cross between a Pard and a gazelle). Verdan is caustic and thinks he must have done something horrible in a past life to be bonded to Roth. He is very protective of Roth, however, despite his willingness to side against the demon in verbal arguments.

User Image
Rin is one of Verdan's two daughters. Sweet but strongwilled, Rin is bonded to Kali, who suits her much better than Roth as Kali doesn't move around as much. Rin is content to do her own thing while Kali fools around with her magic, though always close by in case of an accident, or just requiring some affection from her mistress.

User Image
A Christmas gift, Dawning Glory took a liking to Kali. She's more carefree than Rin, and tends to wander farther than Rin will. Glory especially loves the gardens surrounding the house and is often to be found frolicking in them.

User Image
Xiao
Given to Roth as a Christmas present from Devi (in the Secret Santa raffle), Xiao is a nightmare given form, appearing as a bird-like creature. Drawing off Roth's emotions, Xiao prefers to sleep when not with Roth. He is not quite as graceful as the two dragons and is less possesive/protective of his owner.
Hell & Generals

Beelzebub
The One Winged Angel, Prince of Demons, Lord of the Flies
Currently: ruling Hell in proxy of Roth; trying to tutor Roth to take over Hell fully

Beelzebub is one of Hell's most well-known figures. The perfect warrior, he is immensely powerful but lacks the desire to rule, preferring to take orders. For this reason, he was often sent into the human realm on behalf of the various Kings. It is unknown if Beelzebub has any skills as a warrior - no one has ever survived or tested his magicks long enough to find out.

He has served several masters, such as Lusifah and Yan Lao. Thanks to his power and disposition, he is always 2nd in command of Hell. Kings may come and go, but Beelzebub always remains.

Thanks to his one perfect angel wing, he is known as the One Winged Angel. The second was lost in his fall from Heaven. Although it isn't obvious at first, his second wing has been replaced with nearly-translucent insect wings. Brown skinned with bottle green hair, he prefers to display talons rather than hands and curving ram horns on either side of his face.

Lilith
Succubus, the 'Princess of Hell'
Currently: one of Hell's Four Generals

The self-titled Princess of Hell, Lilith is the first and most powerful succubus. Unlike most others, she can siphon energy from any emotion from any other (weaker) person - normal succubi and incubi are depend on the opposite sex, or at least sexual attraction. She has powers of mind control, raw energy, flight and incredibly fast healing.

Lilith is the sort who takes care of herself first and foremost - though mostly because she otherwise tends to go with the flow. She's not the most powerful of the Generals, or the most feared, but likes her current place and is willing to listen to those she knows to be her superior. Devious in battle, she's one of the nicer demons to encounter as an ally.

Lilith's skin is deathly pale, contrasting with fever-bright emerald eyes and dark auburn hair. Of all the generals, she's the only one to have the standard black demon-bat wings. She doesn't have talons, but her nails are longer than usual and naturally blood red in colour.

Samael
Previously: the Angel of Death, Prince of Air
Currently: one of Hell's Four Generals

Better known by his former title than his name, Samael was in actuality no longer the Angel of Death after his fall. His reputation and experience stuck however, so he is often still known by this title. His existence is closely guarded - most think the ex-Angel of Death is merely a myth.

He is a master at all forms of killing. He has an affinity for the element, so chance often takes his side and provides opportunities where his opponents are easier to kill. It is rumoured that he himself cannot die. Samael loves battles and killing above all else, so is generally kept on a short leash. He prefers close combat with weapons, but has some other powers at his disposal, too. A true warrior, he isn't dependant on sight - he can fight just as well with only his hearing and demon senses.

Samael is pale skinned with inverted red-black eyes and pale blue hair. He has the stereotypical demon-bat wings, but they are pale grey and rather translucent in appearance. Blood-red tattoos can be found on the right side of his face and on his arms.

Az
Foreteller, King's Prophet
Currently: one of Hell's Four Generals

Az is the highest of psychic demons and has the ability to see the future. This happens in a variety of manners - he can always see what is about to happen to him a second or two into the future, he can divine the futures of individuals on request (if they are physically present) and on rare occasions is struck by prophecy.

Even without his fortune-telling, his can depend on his other four senses which are all enhanced. Az has other minor powers, but they are mostly defensive in nature - barriers, minor illusions and the like.

Az covers his eyes with a white blindfold. His hair is pale violet and cut in a fairly short, spiky style. His skin is average Caucasian in tone. His ears are slightly pointed, but other than that he appears human.

Lusifah
Previously:King of Hell
Currently: deceased

A few hundred thousand years ago, Lusifah was a mere General of Hell, third or fourth ranked. Full of pride and envy, he assassinated Yan Lao - the then-current King of Hell - and usurped his throne. Although powerful, Lusifah has little interest in maintaining Hell and let it run to ruin.

He was a master of dark magicks and weapons, and should not be underestimated. Using the element of surprise, he was able to replace a demon many years his superior and has since reigned and gathered power for hundreds of thousands of years.

Dark haired with average Caucasian skin, Lusifah retained his feathered angel wings, though they are now black and heavily tattered at the edges. He rarely used them for flight, but they can be used to channel his other powers. His eyes are almost black, but he otherwise maintained his angelic beauty and appearance.

He was defeated by Astaroth (with help from a draconic Kali) during Roth's quest to Hell as a kid.

Baal
Previously: Commanding General of Hell's Armies & Yan Lao's bodyguard
Currently: deceased (part of his soul resurrected as a nightmare dragon)

Baal's preferred form was that of a long dragon (kind of crossed between oriental and western dragons), which was generally wound around Yan Lao's throne or audience chamber in stone form. To those who looked close enough, the stone dragon would occasionally move its head slightly or change the direction of its eyes.

The most loyal of Yan Lao's generals, Lusifah knew Baal wouldn't accept a new king. For this, he killed Baal first, breaking the stone gargoyle form so Baal was unable to shift back.

Unknown to most, Baal also had a human form. His human form is of a pale-skinned youth, late teens to early 20's, with wavy pale blond hair that reached his shoulders. His eyes were a dark, garnet red. His teeth tended to all remain the sharp fangs of a dragon, his ears were pointed and he kept his taloned fingers/claws.
Allies

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.
Astaroth's first ally, and probably his best friend, Yin has had her fair share of disagreements with Roth. He soon discovered that Yin possessed dual powers and sometimes dual personalities or influences. Childish arguments became rather hectic for guardians when Yin and Roth set their powers on one another.

They were brought closer by a (mis)adventure into a desert and jungle when Astarth first tried to use his teleportation powers. The two grew up together on this trip, returning as kids, with a stronger bond between them. As Yin is quite the tomboy, she is able to keep up with Astaroth's more physical inclinations such as exploring and fighting.

As Roth's first ally, Yin (and Yan) can often read Roth better than anyone else. They were the first to realise that Roth was in a relationship with Mordath, for example. Astaroth regards Yin as a younger sibling, amusing since Yin is the elder of the two. The bond between them is quite strong and Roth trusts Yin and Yan a great deal, as they have ventured into Hell twice (phsyically and then in dreams) to aid him.

Another fa'e that Roth got off on the wrong foot with. He forgot fairly quickly though, curious about this fa'e who may or may not be dark like himself. They didn't really become closer until the time of Roth's descent into Hell. Nyoka helped Roth look for Silver and in return Roth offered to take her to Hell so that she wouldn't be forced to attend Hogwarts (she later went anyway).

Their relationship is not as close as the others, as it is newer. However, Nyoka still gets the benefits of Roth's tolerance, loyalty and protection. Roth approved of her relationship with the dark fa'e Aadil, though only after learning that Nyoka had no plans to get pregnant and therefore become a human. He prefers his female allies to remain as warriors.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.
Another dark fa'e, Roth feels more comfortable around Aadil than he does around many other fa'e that he has known for longer. When Dil was a toddler, Roth gave him a knife in order to cause more chaos around the parrot fa'e. They met again later on and bonded over their dislike for a certain blue, female fa'e... Roth currently has plans to teach Dil to use a spear - yet more opportunities to encourage chaos.

Raeith is the only other Chinese fa'e, and as such she and Roth have always had a bond. Her peaceful kirin nature encourages a calmness about Roth. Perhaps it is the ancient Chinese tradition of protecting high-class females, but Roth has always been willing to assist Raeith - whether this meant researching myths with her as a child or helping to rescue her from Arkoth.

For a while it looked as though the two might become an item, engaging in cute behaviour such as holding tails, kissing each other on the cheek, and Roth toasting marshmellow with Hellfire for them. Sadly, Roth found he wasn't interested in females, so he regards Raeith as his little sister instead.

Although Riven is not dark, he is a 'neutral' fa'e. Unlike many others, he did not judge the dark fa'e and was actually glad that they existed. For this reason, Roth has a measure of tolerance for Riven.

Astaroth originally looked down on Silver, but soon discovered that Silver shared a love for fighting and weapons. The two banded together to break into Kali's weapon cabinet and stage a mini duel. What began as the promise of a worthy opponent turned into a kind of respect or comraderie for the "puppy" and Silver became Roth's ally. Silver and Roth can be seen as squabling siblings. Although they don't see eye to eye, they are most definitely brothers-in-arms. Roth and Silver have not met for quite some time.

Roth's one night stand when under the influence of Yan Lao's ingrained habits. Previously Morion and Roth had held nothing but animosity for the other, but both have changed since that time (Morion is more accepting and Roth is no longer jealous of any ties Morion may have to Mordath). They seem to enjoy talking, even if Roth sometimes does want to hurt Morion in order to shut him up and stop him being so stupidly pessimistic.

Trouble hit when Smoke returned to Gaia, splitting Morion in two. The Morion who retained draconic form and is bonded to Smoke no longer has romantic feelings for Astaroth - their breakup was bittersweet, but as amiable as could be under the circumstances. Roth resolved to harden his heart, as his attraction was to Morion and his draconic nature (and was still present during the breakup).

As Roth's first lover, Mordath was the fa'e that Roth felt closest to and had the most in common with. The two had an interesting relationship, both feeling like the weaker of the two and striving for prove they were 'worthy' of the other. The match originally appeared to be a good one - both fa'e were aiming for the immortality and power of an Ancient, promising to aid one another and not let a 'silly' thing like feelings deter them from their goals. However, at Prom 2005 Roth fell prey to a centuries-long compulsion of Yan Lao's - the need for sex after battle. Betraying Mordath with Morion, Roth confessed but was unable to save the relationship.

Roth is still slightly in love with Mordath, but has convinced himself to let go in order to not hurt Mordath any more. He rightfully blames himself for the incident, and cannot find fault in Mordath's reaction.
Other Fa'e

Airi: Roth is ambivalent about Airi. He respects her power and that she is the reason he was reborn, but doesn't agree with many other decisions and opinions she has. He will keep her alive in order to keep himself alive, that is all.

Arkanti: Roth sense a demon's aura around Arkie. But if he's correct, Arkie is the most bumbling demon Roth has ever met! Arkie is amusing from a distance.

Aylana: Originally the biggest pain in Roth's life, Aylana and the demon got off on the wrong foot when Roth was still a baby. Proving he holds a grudge, Roth didn't let go of his anger until he was a teen - but he still doesn't like or trust Aylana one bit.

Callix: Roth has only seen the boy at Prom, being a reluctant date to Dusty. Roth didn't think much of him either way.

Devmani: The centaur and Roth have known each other for some time, but are not close. They have fought side by side, in the past. Devi was mute when they first met, which explains the lack of bonding through conversation.

Dustin: Roth finds Dusty aesthetically pleasing, as she has black fur and golden eyes, as well as gems embeeded in her face. He and Dusty searched the library at Prom, Roth deciding there was yet another promising youngster that might be interesting to corrupt...

Ghlyssa: While they don't have anything in common, she gets automatic points for being with Riven.

Hoshi: The starkeeper presented a young Roth with a star, though the event was so long ago that it has mostly faded from Roth's memory.

Kia: Crazy pan-throwing woman! Entirely irrational, with the worst taste in men. How Kia and Taka produced a child as awesome as Nozomi is completely beyond Roth.

Mordath: The first other dark fa'e Roth met, as well as his first crush and lover. The two suited each other well, but were often apart, which led to Roth cheating on Mordath. Their breakup was messy and painful on both.

Mortimer: Another fa'e with a sense of demon around him, Morty is alright in Roth's books - as long as he bathes. Roth isn't sure what he thinks of Nyoka and Morty being together, or Morty and Dil fighting, but he likes that Morty is a violent fa'e and not another weakling do-gooder.

Nozomi: Roth's first proper student, learning the sword from him. Roth finds Nozomi peaceful to be around, but unlike Raeith, Omi is also a strong fighter, which earned Roth's respect. He's looking forward to her return from Japan.

Rionne: Roth has heard that a second Morion may still have feelings for Roth, but the demon doesn't care to find out. He has no wish to suffer from love a third time. In a way, Rionne's coming was the herald of Roth's darker change of heart.

Rune: Roth only knows about him third-hand from Dil and Nyoka. By all accounts, Rune must die. So be it >3

Sati: Silver's ex, which makes her a smart woman despite Roth's ally-ship with Silver - he wouldn't want to date the overgrown puppy either. Roth harbours a suspicion that Sati may be an assassin... and to think he hasn't even met her adult form yet!

Shina: Public Enemy Number One! FLEE!!! IT MAKES YOU FEMALE AND PREGNANT OH GOD WHERE IS THE BRAINBLEACH? While not the object of his hate, Shina is the fa'e that Roth fears the most.

Taka: Little kid superhero used to be a worthy enemy, but now he's just a washed-up nothing. Roth hasn't seen Taka in forever and doesn't care to.

Yanisin: The blind deer once made everyone see Roth as a tree. Roth was not amused. What is with all these do-gooder parents creating such interesting and potentially violent kids?

The floorplan of Kali's house. It's fairly oriental in layout. The closest gardens (particularly the internal one) are oriental. The surroundings gardens are very large, and much more Western/European.

1. Roth's room. 2. Kali's room. 3. The tea/sitting room. 4. Part of the gardens. 5. Another part of the gardens, not far from the clearing where Roth trains.

Roth's room
Sunlight filtered through the Oriental sliding doors, illuminating the large room and its occupants. A large futon was present, numerous pillows and cushions around it, with light sheets of Egyptian cotton.

The room itself was a strange mix of prince's harem and warrior's spartan quarters. Various trinkets lined shelves, sparkly items set in front of books on strategy and magick and other arcane topics. On the opposite side of the room a weapons rack stood against the wall. Various sharp objects were held there, including but not limited to Roth's favourites of large spear and Chinese style swords. Someone looking at it studiously may have been able to discern the mental battle between king and warrior that played out in Roth's daily life.
