Who: Probably Atae, Bryna, Endless, Hemi, Kitsyn, Liliana, & Zell. Maybe more of Hai's family. What: Stopping by so that Lily can tell them she's going on an adventure Where: the Fierra place When: after this and this, after Lily has gone home, while Travel Beckons is going on (but before Lily ends up there) Why: it wouldn't be right not to let End know...There was a series of pops in the front yard of the Fierra Place as three kitsu apparated in. Two winged ones on either side of a third, whose blue flame markings, bright blonde hair, & darkblue & silver uniform stood out from his companions as much as his lack of wings. Zell hopped from their hold with a satisfied grunt, rolling his shoulders from the way their holds had been. "Must say, that's a convenient way to travel!" The light-chocolate furred male behind him nodded with a slight smile as he folded his wings to land, slipping his willow wand into its leg holster as his crimson furred sister did the same -her ebony wand almost disappearing into the the black inside of her foreleg. "yeah! I'm pretty partial to it." Baby blue eyes contemplated his sister. He was worried about her, happy for her, worried about their friends and family as well. But most importantly, Hemi wanted to spend as much time as he could with his sister before she started her travels. On one paw he knew she needed this. On the other... he would miss her fiercely. Liliana had always been there for him. The two siblings were very close. Perhaps she was getting better at reading others or perhaps she needed it to, but Lily nuzzled her brother sweetly before stepping to the door. "I wonder if Endless is still asleep..." She mused softly, pausing before knocking on the door. "If he is... the other's aren't likely to know..." The boys nodded. That blank did not need filling in. But then that was another reason they had accompanied the winged female. To offer silent support. Though Liliana had not been told of that. It was their little 'secret'. "Not gonna get any easier waiting."Grinning a bit at that, Liliana knocked firmly upon the door.

Kitsyn was the one who opened the door, Bryna floating after her like a silent shadow. Bryna had a piece of paper and a crayon in paw, and it was obvious she'd been writing... from the wadded up paper scattered across the floor, it seemed she'd been trying to write several times. Bryna was the first one to speak and she zipped outside to wrap her arms around the back of Hemi's neck. "Cousins! And... spiky head?" She floated over to poke at Zell's hair, crayon and paper momentarily forgotten on the floor just inside the door.
Kitsyn picked the items up and moved back from the doorway to allow the arrivals to enter. "This one looks much better, Bryn. And hey guys... why do I get the feeling this isn't just a social call?"
Atae was just exiting the kitchen and heading through the front room to the door that led down to her room when she spied the others entering. She managed not to blush at seeing Hemi, though it was more curiosity as to why Lily was coming in through the front door instead out of End's room that gave her the willpower to do so. Her mouth was full of a plate of leftovers so she wagged her tails in greeting instead of speaking.

"Arh!!! Not the hair!!" Zell exclaimed even as the siblings chorused their hellos to Bryna. Everything else seemed to be forgotten by the fistfighter as he hunkered down from the floating teen's pokes, swinging gloved paws over his head in a most un-fighter like manner to keep Bryna away.
Liliana gave a sad, nervous smile. "You... could say that Kitsyn. Is Endless still asleep? I loathe waking him but..." I should really tell him first. He deserves to be told personally, not second hand.
"Hey Atae!" Hemi called cheerfully as he was able, waving a paw as chocolate tails wagged behind him. Zell paused long enough in his flailings to give a grin and a small wave and Lily's smile of greeting seemed to be apprehensive.

If Lily really was starting to pay attention to people's smaller physical tells then Kitsyn's sigh was a dead giveaway that she had at least some idea of what was going on. She waved Lily toward the hallway. "If he's been awake he hasn't come out of his room so... he might well be asleep still."
Bryna was easily distracted and had actually started poking at Zell's paws rather than his hair when he waved them around, though that might have been difficult for the SeeD to discern. When he stopped moving them, though, she floated over and reclaimed her writing utensils, chirping as she floated back over to the table in the center of the paper wad disaster area, "I'm writing to Nii-chan!"
Atae struggled a bit more to keep from blushing when Hemi's attention was directly centered on her but still managed to keep her composure and trotted over to a coffee table to put her plate down. "Hi Hemi. Lily. Zell. Um... anyone want something to drink?" She wasn't usually the one to play hostess... at least with unexpected visitors, even if she did know them. If she knew they were gonna show up she was a little better about it, but... eep.

Lily only took the sigh as sign that Kitsyn might know something but not necessarily on what. Her brother however was well used to reading other's body language and flashed Kitsyn a smile that was both apology & request. "Thanks, Kitsyn." The petite crimson female said with a slight smile before trotting nervously to the right door, politely shaking her head to Atae with a soft "No thank you."
Sitting up, Zell stretched and otherwise limbered up upon realizing his 'tormentor' had become distracted. "Who's Nii-chan?"
Hemi chuckled, padding over to nuzzle his cousin with a gentle "That's great" before flashing Zell a funny grin. "I'm pretty sure Nii-chan is Ed."
The SeeD got an odd, almost thoughtful look on his face. "oh. Really." Chuckling, Hemi looked up with smiling baby blues at their 'hostess'. "Actually, Wouldn't mind some water, Atae. Thanks." "Hm? Yeah. Water. Sounds good. Lemmie help ya get that, Atae." No longer flailing Zell padded over with his usual boyish grin -seemingly over whatever he was thinking about a moment before.
Down the hall Lily tapped lightly on Endless' door and hearing no reply slipped in. It was odd, entering this way after so nearly having been his. And with what she had to tell him...
He was asleep, and from what she could tell had not moved much from where she had left him. Well, except that he had sprawled out on his back now for some reason. She hated to wake him... but for Endless to find out she had gone adventuring second hand or by note was simply not fair. Not to their friendship, not to what they almost shared. Not to him.
Softly she padded to his side and gently nudged his cheek with her nose in a way that was not quite a nuzzle if only to not give him the wrong idea. "Endless... I'm sorry to wake you..."

Kitsyn gave Hemi a little grin and nodded. They'd sort out whatever was going on after Lily got done with whatever she needed to tell Endless. In response to Zell's question and Hemi's guess she answered. "Yeah, Nii-chan is Ed. I have no idea why she started calling him that, but she seems stuck on it and he doesn't seem to mind." She glanced over to see if Bryna had anything to say on the matter, but the little Nobody was absorbed in her writing.
Atae nodded mutely but with a smile and padded toward the kitchen, getting out two bowls and handing one to Zell. "Lily's here about... whatever happened earlier when I felt Endless get real sad, isn't she?" She had been here at the time; but Endless was asleep when she peeked in to see what was going on. The only clue she had that Lily had been there was the potions and the note, and if she'd left sleeping potions for Endless she didn't want to wake him up to ask.
In the room Endless woke with a little jump, although it did little more than give his body a jolt since his paws were in the air. He blinked groggily at Lily. "...love? Something happen?" The memory of what happened hadn't left him... that was obvious by the look in his eyes. There was obvious concern there, though. He still wanted to love and help and protect her in any way he could... he couldn't help it.

"That's just wierd." Zell said with a grin before following Atae to the kitchen while the winged male watched his cousin with a small smile and a nod. "Thought so. Don't remember where I heard that. Probably at dinner or something."
Taking the bowl it was a little hard for Zell's paw to rub at his tattoo at the belted female's question. Like Squall with that belt of hers he thought not for the first, nor the last time. "If ya mean they're connected, yeah. Guess you could say that." She felt Endless get sad? How come Zell seemed to always be the last to know someone could read or feel emotions or thoughts? Nobody seemed to bother to inform him of these sorts of things.
Her green eyes were gentle, with more than a note of apology inside. For waking him, for what she was going to say, for what she had said & done, everything. But a tenderness too. Endless would always hold a special place in her heart, even if her love for him was not enough. "You... could say that. I'm going to... go on an adventure for a while." There was a hushed excitement to her news and some awe still at the notion. "I'll be with Edward & Setsumi & Ronan so I'll be safe. It's kind of spur of the moment for me, but they were going and I'll be tagging along." She was speaking as fast as she felt she could and still enable Endless to hear her in his sleepy state. "I'll be able to be reached through my communicator & I'll write. I just... couldn't leave without letting you know, Endless. It's not something to leave in a note or let someone else tell you." Her red cheek nuzzled his then, before pulling back to meet his eyes.

Kitsyn waited until the others exited the room and moved over to Hemi, quietly asking for a confirmation of her suspicions. "She came to tell him goodbye, didn't she?"
Atae judged simply by his reaction that Zell hadn't known about her power... she still didn't know who all knew at Trel's place and who didn't. She had a feeling more knew than she thought, but apparently less knew than she thought, too. "Ah... guess it'll get explained. And ah... my empathy... only works with people I'm close to, and usually only if they feel something powerful... but it only tells me what they're feeling... not why or anything like that." She shuffled in a sort of nervous apology before seeming to realize that Hemi was still waiting for his water so she filled the bowl up from a jug in the fridge and waited for Zell to do the same.
Endless listened to it all and was silent for a moment before he took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a moment. When he opened them there was a new pain there. He was going to miss Lily being around... even if he couldn't be with her anymore her presence was still a comfort to his aching heart. But... "...It will probably be good for you. For... both of you. I... Well, I hope it doesn't sound rude... You both have some growing up to do. And... I'm not talking about Ed's hight..." He slowly rolled to an upright position. "I've got some growing up to do, too..."
A long moment passed, and he looked thoughful. "Adventuring means... you're not sure when you'll be back?" Another pause. "I... hope I'll be here when you get back, but I'm not sure. I had a dream... right before you woke me up, I guess. I think I might go look for them... like you said. My brother and sister. I probably won't leave for a while... I need a little time before I go wandering off on my own again. And... I don't really want to leave Atae here like that... not with you two leaving..." He sighed and lay his head back down on his paws, unable to avoid thinking about that other dream he'd had before Lily came into his room earlier that day. He was also afraid that if he left now he'd run into that blackness... and there would be no more stars. "Actually... I'm not sure if I'll go at all, right now. I'm feeling a little... directionless. Blah... I don't want to make you any more sad right now."
He stood up and headed toward the door, but paused. "Did you tell the others yet?"

The Lupin 'baby' turned his attention from his cousin to Kitsyn, a knowing almost beyond his age in their baby-blue depths. When it came to living knowledge, Hemi was much better versed than his sister. His own voice was equally quiet, pitched so as not to alarm Bryna if that was possible. "For a while." From what he had gotten from Lily, and Kitsyn herself saying that Endless was likely asleep he was fairly certain details were likely unknown though the basics could probably have been figured out. Not that there was anything simple about a love triangle.
Grinning, Zell set down the bowl to cuff his latest 'cadet' on her shoulder lightly. "Nah. It's cool, 'Tae. Getting used to that sorta thing. Just didn't know you could do it." He laughed lightly, then rubbed the back of his neck with a paw before following her lead with the water and bowl & went with Atae out of the kitchen, back to the front room.
"You've never been rude." Liliana defended automatically, an almost shy grin curling the corners of her mouth a moment. Then she became serious, nodding softly... knowing from this love experience alone how much she did not know about the world beyond her studies and potions.
"Well... I hope to be back for when Aunt Ginny's eggs hatch, even if I have to apparate back. But... yeah. I guess I don't know." Green eyes blinked in wonder at that realization. She gave a small little laugh. "I've never really been anywhere.... guess... guess I'll find out."
And the ebb of guilt that never left grew again at the thought of both her & Ed leaving Atae. Ed more than her, for though Atae was her only female friend they were still not very close. "Well... I... I suppose if you leave or not, well then that is how it will be won't it?" Padding over to where she left her communicator upon leaving him earlier Lily brought it back to him. "Left this for you when I left before. To keep in touch. It has a tracker if its needed. Homing device or something. Rikku's already fixed it in the system to show it's you now. So if you do go... we can at least keep tabs..."
Her eyes were soft, not quite crying, no tears fell. "I told my family, then came to tell you. I wouldn't have woken you otherwise, Endless. I know you can use the sleep."

Kitsyn nodded thoughtfully at Hemi's answer. "He knew something wasn't right... I could tell. ...I'm going to have a talk with him. Later. ...I know what he's going through. I think he needs to know there's light at the end of the tunnel."
Further conversation along that vein was halted when the other two came back in. Atae stepped with a dainty sort of speed over to Hemi and set the bowl down for him. "Got it out of the fridge, so it's nice and cool." It was still the middle of summer after all... She fidgeted for a moment and then looked over at her forgotten late lunch on the table, mouth forming a small "o" of I-just-remembered-that.
Kitsyn nudged her. "Go ahead kiddo. I know you missed lunch, I doubt Hemi and Zell are going to begrudge you something to eat. You're skinny enough as it is." She stuck her tongue out at Atae, who blushed at the comment and excused herself with something that sounded more like a squeek than a word. "...You're also too easy to tease." Kitsyn stuck her tongue out again and this time Atae stuck hers out right back and trotted over to the table.
Endless smiled softly at Lily, a feeling of love that would never really fade expressed by that action than by any word. "I know you wouldn't have... and I'm glad you did. I'd rather have the chance to... bid you a good journey." Goodbye was too hard a word, right now. He didn't want goodbyes right now.
He took the communicator from her, giving it a good looking over before inserting it in his ear. "...Like that?" He adjusted it slightly and then bowed her out of the room, and almost playful expression on his face brought on by simply being too tired, physically and emotionally, to keep being sad for the moment. "I guess we better go break the news."

Hemi watched the female softly. He did not know all that she had revealed to Zell, but he had seen the fistfighter since Kitsyn's visit to their home; seen that he was often in thought, thinking about something almost too deep for the carefree SeeD. The young wizard was certain he knew something. Perhaps something about how Kitsyn could possibly know what Endless was going through. For he had tried... and for all his understanding of those involved, of the situation... Hemi found he could not know what any of them were going through. Except perhaps Lily; but then the 'baby' had a special bond with his eldest sister that neither quite fully understood. "There's always light. Sometimes it's about finding it."
He smiled warmly as Atae & Zell returned, tails wagging. "Thanks, Atae!" Then he giggled at her forgotten lunch. "Sorry to interrupt your lunch! Please eat! heart " Zell blinked setting down his own water and looking pretty relaxed but for a stunned expression. "We stopped ya from eating? dang. Sorry. 'Tae." With a sheepish grin Zell lapped at his water. "Too sweet for your own good."
Good journey. Liliana smiled softly. That sounded nice. "Yes. Just like that. Instructions are right there with the potions if you need them." For once she saw past his playfulness, remembering similar behavior from the day Endless had told her he loved her. Sorrow flooded over her from the memory, torn between wishing the turn of events started that day had never occurred and yet glad to know and painfully happy at the outcome. More... Lily wished there had some way to avoid the heartache... to not have hurt those she loved in such an irreparable way. Her own expression said as much though her smile and excitement for her journey shone through. "Guess so."
Lily gave him a playful curtsy of thanks as she left the room. However she paused before they went to join the others. "Thanks, Endless. Thanks for being so understanding... for being you." She could only guess how hard this was on him, and feel sympathy & guilt. A short laugh and Liliana shook her crimson head softly. "I really have so much more to learn, don't I? So much just isn't in books..." Steeling herself the winged female trotted towards the others with a brave half-smile. "Well... better do this."
The boys glanced up, hearing the sound of the familiar fall of gold tipped paws upon the ground. At their expressions, Lily felt a tug realizing just how much they too would miss her while she was away. But she also saw that they agreed she needed this, and no matter what would support her. It was quite unnerving and yet heartwarming at the same time.

Kitsyn gave a secretive sort of smile at Hemi's response about finding the light. "Exactly." Then she joined in the more natural smiles that seemed to be going around the room as Atae ate. Atae could eat as voraciously as any of them when she was hungry, but she somehow managed to be neat and perhaps even dainty about it. She had all the natural grace of a gazelle, Kitsyn sometimes thought. And it was slowly but steadily improving since she'd joined in lessons with Zell.
Endless started down the hall after Lily but paused, looking thoughtful, and then went back into his room to go over one of his bookshelves. Finally he found what he was looking for and caught up with his bewinged friend, though he was holding on to the book until she'd finished what she needed to say. A steadying paw on her shoulder when they stopped was the only answer he really had for her expression of thanks.
All eyes had turned to them by that point, even Bryna's, the young Nobody's attention caught when the soft banter in the room suddenly turned to an expectant sort of hush. Kitsyn gave Lily an affectionate and hopefully reassuring grin. "Might as well spit it out, Lil. We all know something's up."

The boys both noted with some pride Atae's growing gracefulness though neither made a comment on it. For different reasons, it was not their way. Zell & Hemi simply smiled and made certain not to distract her from her food again.
Wondering about the book, Liliana breathed in deeply as she faced the three girls. The boys of course already knew, her brother's baby blues catching hers and bolstering her courage. As Endless said, she might as well spit it out. "I'm going on a journey... With Edward, Setsumi and Ronan. I... they're waiting for me at headquarters." Green eyes glanced anxiously between Kitsyn and Atae specifically, certain the two females caught on to what else that meant by the way it was said. "I'm sorry for all the mess I've caused."
Her head sank a little, waiting to see if she should spell out the rest or not.

Atae paused in her eating to stare for a moment, but rather than saying anything she thoughtfully started chewing on her current mouthful. Honestly... she didn't know what to say at the moment. Or think, even. Ed was going to be happy now... but he was still leaving. End was... well if what she'd felt earlier was any indication he was going to be a mess when he finally broke down. ...She kept eating, though more slowly, obvious thought creasing her brow.
Bryna didn't understand Lily's hidden meaning... but considering her telepathy it also didn't make a lot of difference. She was good at putting together the pieces after she'd retrieved them... one way or another. "Now Nii-chan won't be sad!" Her comment brought on something between a smile and a grimace on all three of her housemates' faces. She knew so much and yet was so oblivious. "Oh! Nii-chan's still here? Can I take him my letter? It's my first one!" She looked quite pleased. It was obvious the letter was still a mess to read, but it seemed to be legible.
Kitsyn just watched Endless, who nodded tiredly and then handed Lily the book. "I found this... somewhere. Herbs from different places in the kitsu lands... I don't know how far you're going to go but I know they don't have the same things everywhere... and it can't hurt to know what to look for if you can't apparate back for some reason..." He trailed off then, giving Lily a long look before he licked her cheek and turned to go back to his room. "I... Sorry. I'm not sure I can... handle seeing you off right now..." His retreat was stately in a way, but his turmoil was still obvious.
Atae had finished eating by this point and was watching the goings on, remaining as silent at Kitsyn until she finally asked, "Uh... can you take me... to go say bye to Ed too? I didn't think I'd have a chance to before..."
Kitsyn herself still remained quiet, watching Endless go with the sad affection of an older sister for a younger sibling. It didn't really matter that she'd shown up much later... Kitsyn was Kitsyn, after all. "I'll look after him, Lil. We all will. Don't worry too much. Well... try not to. You guys should try to have fun. Now... I don't know how many you guys can apparate with you at once. Atae and Bryna are kinda small but..." She shrugged, leaving both the queery about apparating the two girls over to see Ed off and the one about them waiting for the two girls to get there before they left unspoken. It was pretty obvious, after all.

Atae, Endless, & Kitsyn were not the only ones to react to the little Nobody's joviality uncomfortably in the face of such a revelation. Hemi & Liliana winced and even Zell's eyes flashed with thinly concealed sympathetic pain. Liliana could only nod then that her cousin could, indeed, take her Nii-chan her letter.
What the night-sky male had to say took Lily a moment to figure out how to respond. In the end she gave him a soft sad smile. "Endless... thanks." Wishing there was something more she could say to console him... and knowing there was not. So she quietly watched him go. I'm sorry, Endless. And thank you. Thank you... for everything.
She nodded to Atae, not seeing how Hemi was padding over to the belted female to rub the side of his head against her neck in an attempt to make her feel a little better. "Sure, Atae. And... Thanks Kitsyn. It's good to know someone can." There were tears in her green eyes which Lily wiped softly away with a gold tipped paw. "I can take Atae on my own." The light chocolate male informed with a gentle smile for the female in question. "Lily, can you handle one and a half?" Hemi knew his sister to be a better witch than he was a wizard; he had after all inherited more of their mother's gift.
Zell leaned back, quietly watching. Everyone, but mostly his two female 'cadets'. "hmm? Bryna & Zell? Yes. Yes I can. Their mass together is within my capabilities. But I won't be able to bring them back." Neither Liliana nor the others knew of Remus taking this time to go to headquarters and speak to the fullmetal.
