Mizu was aware of the talk around her but she fell silent, lost in her own thoughts. But now unguided by Mizu's hands Hoshi took her own course, coming up by Gene and bit his arm not leting go. Hoshi was an intelligent horse and her brown eyes glimmered with warning. But by the time she made eye contact with Gene Mizu had come to herself and was pulling her away.
"Hoshi!" She scolded. "Don't do that!" Mizu patted Hoshi's neck and got her to let go, turning her. "Sorry, but be more careful." Mizu's red eyes gave a cold glare to Gene. "You don't know whom you may insult." With that she turned Hoshi again and picked up a trot to go ride up by the horses with the cart.

Oh, and could you please avoid use of txt abbreviations like 'lol' and 'nvm' in your character posts? They're fine in ooc, but they break things up in the RP.))

Anyara leaned around the edge of the cart to make sure it wasn't Nightmare acting up, seeing that it wasn't, she left them to their fussing. The pale gelding tossed his head. "As long as they don't summon down a horde of bandits, they can bicker all they like," She informed Charger, who snorted in response. "So what'll we do about running into check-points?" She inquired of Nihilian, looking down and a little forward in an attempt to see his face. "They do have those. And when we do come to them, please call me Anna or just girl. I am just the carter as far as they're concerned."
Run-aways tended to get prices on their heads. She didn't know if her ex-Lord had bothered, but she would prefer to be careful.
Besides, it was to their advantage if they looked like something less than what they were. Gene and--what was the other man's name?--could be explained as guards, Mizu the Carvan boss, and Nihilian a guide. Anyara, of course, was 'just the carter.'
She wondered if Mizu could play the superior seasoned with haughter and scorn.

Also you used "nvm" when your character was speaking. Be glad I didn't have my character ask him why we was reciting letters.))

"We'll do what every merchant and upper class Drathellian does when passing a checkpoint. Bluff and Bribe, girl."
He grinned and slowed his pace slightly so he was between Mizu and Anyara.
"A proper guide must always remain between the richest member of the party and the poorest. So, Lady Mizu, you are the leader of this party. And you, girl, are... not. You other two shall be guards."

"Why do rich people have the right to lead the party. It should be obviously the strongest one. The one with leadership and a good sense of direction." Gene eyed Nihilian. Gene turned to Mizu, trying not to offend her, "And I am not saying you don't have leadership or a sense of direction. I am just saying that you really never have shown those qualities during the time of our departure. I am not saying that I am the suitable one either. I am just saying pick wisely."

Gene understood what was Anyara's point, but he didn't want to follow the old ways. "I doubt her bounty or high ranks can protect us from everything. I am not saying she isnt a fit leader, but money shouldn't rule us. We are out of te city, and out here anything goes. Cover your ears if you must, but you can not shut my thoughts or opinions being released after being locked up for years." Gene stared at Mizu at the front, while he was a few feet behind her. "My family used to be wealthy, but since they passed away, I am now a servant of what they once were. Just becuase they, or I, lost the wealth, it doesnt make me less of a canidate for leading the party."

Gene sighed, knowing he was right. None of them really had any money, except for the few probably back in the city. "Your right. We aren't inviting a fight, but we are ready if one comes our way." Gene looked at the rising sun, not sure of how long they have been traveling. "Do you guys still want to advance to Drathel during daylight, or get some rest and travel during the cover of night?"

Anyara settled the conversation by turning the cart off on to a track barely big enough for it. They had travelled through the night, albeit at a mild pace, but another day of travel would leave the pore beasts to weak to be of any aid. If they wished to go on as merchants, they would either go without the cart and goods, three horses and a servant girl, or they would follow.
She slowed it in a clearing where a lean-to shed stood, wood stacked out of the rain against one wall, a firepit lined with stones and sweapt clean and a smaller track led to what could only be a strem or river, by the burble of water.
Personally, she had been up since dawn yesterday working, and had no intention of continuing unless they had to.
She got down and unhitched the horses, turning to face the path, one hand on her hip, waiting.

((She was implying it, but she's only acting. And Ivan's post says it's dawn, or darn near it, so we're going with that as as good as anything else.))
