SuchSweetSadism If that's an option I'd take it. Especially if there was another science available, and I needed a science credit, like physics or bio. Well the chemistry class that I am in, you have to have, General chemistry one and two as a package set or no other college away from here will take the credit of you even took chemistry...because i am going to a community college at the moment. So if I want to transfer anywhere I have to take part two, or drop out of the associates in science program.

It's a two year college, just enough to get an associates degree, then you have to go to a university...

SuchSweetSadism Ah. Anywhere in particular you're interested in going? Well I have to go to college in the state or I don't get to keep my Kee's money...which is money we earn for making good grades, to go towards college...kinda like a scolarship...I don't know if other states do that or not, which is the reasson that I said that. So the college I am thinking ok, you may have never heard of.

SuchSweetSadism Ah. Maybe? I know more northeastern US ones. D: It's not a big/well known school. Seeing as how it is in Kentucky. It's called Morehead...Weird name right? It is in that county in Kentucky too...

How do you usually deal with what seems an all around bad situation to be in?
First, there are no absolutes; no absolute negative problems/situations nor absolute positive problems/situations (as Western relgion wants us to believe). Negative events always, ALWAYS contain a positive component -- and vice versa.
Therefore, as a Critical Thinker, you must find that hidden positive component and expand upon it, and let the negativity yield a positive. We all have this power, but few realize it. Life is like doing beginning algebra. Find that positive that will cancel or reduce that negative. That is our task in life. As Critical Thinkers and mathematicians. The only difference is it's not as easy as X and Y. But, perhaps, it is.
Also a Chinese professor of mine once told me that it is NOT the situation that has any power whatsoever. It is our reaction to the situation.
We give people and situations power by reacting to them in a way that it harms us either emotionally or physically, or both. Don't give people or situations power of you. You control every situation, every person by how you react.
I hope that helps.

I handle most problems by evaluating whether or not it is worth my time/effort; I give it some thought as to if it is really bothersome. When it's not, I let it pass but sometimes I vent to my therapist just to let the steam off. If the problem is worth the confrontation, that's precisely what I do--I approach it and try to handle it as best as possible, usually by talking/arguing/what have you.
I recently had to deal with a guy who insulted one of my relatives and pretty much threatened her safety, so I intervened and tried to fend him off. He was bull-headed however, and after a while of back-and-forth arguing with no progressive result, I left him alone and ignored anything else he had to say. Not quite a problem solved, but not one pressed any further either.

Smoke a bowl either with friends or alone, drink a beer, and sit back and think about it. There is no problem in life that cannot be handled by simply sitting down and thinking/talking about it.
Edit: Morehead? Best college ever.

Buzzatron How do you usually deal with what seems an all around bad situation to be in? First, there are no absolutes; no absolute negative problems/situations nor absolute positive problems/situations (as Western relgion wants us to believe). Negative events always, ALWAYS contain a positive component -- and vice versa. Yeah, life has it's balances that way. I didn't mean for all around to be an absolute, just that there isn't much positive that can come out of it. Even if there is some component, it's mostly littered with negative. Buzzatron Therefore, as a Critical Thinker, you must find that hidden positive component and expand upon it, and let the negativity yield a positive. We all have this power, but few realize it. Life is like doing beginning algebra. Find that positive that will cancel or reduce that negative. That is our task in life. As Critical Thinkers and mathematicians. Don't give people or situations power of you. You control every situation, every person by how you react. Sounds more like the aftermath of the situation, not so much dealing with it in the moment. Although as a pessimistic optimist I can relate in the way that I tend to anticipate the worst and hope for the best, and in the event of the worst I look for the positive and it'll all be well for that. Thanks, but it's not really to aid any situation, it's more looking for input - and with that your's is much appreciated. 3nodding ze proffezionalle I handle most problems by evaluating whether or not it is worth my time/effort; I give it some thought as to if it is really bothersome. I usually end up talking about most of my concerns with a good friend, usually either to organize my own thoughts or to weigh their thoughts with mine. Rarely ever ask for advice however, for I tend not to heed any. Unless the person is well versed in the subject, I usually go on my own instincts. ze proffezionalle I recently had to deal with a guy who insulted one of my relatives and pretty much threatened her safety, so I intervened and tried to fend him off. I tremendously respect when someone stands up for another person. It always makes me feel a bit warmer inside. ^-^
