((after interlude with Endless. here)) There was a soft pop as Liliana apparated into the achemist's room at headquarters. Every crimson fur seemed to shake with strained emotions. Brown wings rustled, fluttering softly as she tried to settle them across her back. Yet at the same time there was a trace of calm... a sense of something that might be peace of mind, a relief that perhaps, just perhaps things were settled to some extent.
At least within her. Liliana was far from being fully at ease but a little whisper was trying to balance her feelings, turbulent for what seemed far too long.
Padding softly she approached Edward, not wanting to run to him purely for the sake of getting comfort. No matter how much she might want it. "Edward..." Her voice was soft, tender, and slightly questioning. As if asking with his name alone permission to come closer, mixed with hopeful longing. Love washed her eyes, but behind their green centers lay a sadness. A sadness which spoke of what she had done.

He hadn't really moved from the spot that Lilianna had left him in. Edward needed the time alone to think, and think he had. It was like completely switching gears...for he had been slowly coming to terms with the fact that Lilianna.. his best friend... was in love with someone else. When he thought his world had been flipped upside down... it was suddenly turned upright again and it left him disoriented.
However, the time to think seemed to do him some good. For when she reappeared, and he heard his name... Edward looked up and gave her one of those gentle smiles. Was it really true? Was she really his?
The sadness in her eyes was not missed, and as she approached, Ed get to his paws to meet her halfway. He then embraced her, his arms wrapped around her to hold Lily close.
"I love you" were the tender words that came from him.

The small female -though still bigger than the teen- melted into his embrace. For a moment the world faded away and Lily felt she was where she should be. When her thoughts returned that feeling remained, though subtler. The pain she had caused could not be fixed with a spell. Or at least she would not do so. Edward's words warmed her in a way she could not describe and was not sure she wanted to. A happy sigh rolled softly from her mouth, stirring his blonde braid where Lily had curled her head around his. When words came they soft, sweet, sincere and full of heart felt emotion. "And I love you, Edward."

It was strange... for where there had been sorrow, joy was now welling in his heart. The whole situation didn't end as it probably should have... but what right did he have to complain? He didn't have to imagine what Endless must be going through, he'd already known that pain.
A nuzzle into Lilianna's neck, and he held her tightly, as if she would suddenly disappear if he let go. He wouldn't let anyone or anything, take her away from him again. Edward would stay by her side, and not repeat the mistakes his father had made in his past life. No words were spoken, he was content to remain in this moment for as long as he could.

Letting her green eyes flutter shut Liliana prayed that perhaps someday she could be forgiven for her indecisiveness and the pain it caused. For now she savored the moment, even as her body shook and her legs nearly buckled.
After a while of that a small giggle bubbled up in her, rumbling lightly in her chest. "I... can't stop shaking."

It would take a little bit before Edward would be completely at ease with the turn around of events... and his own little bit of guilt. However, he felt a great deal of comfort and relaxation in Lily's embrace and mere presence... it was soothing.
Hearing the giggle, Edward pulled back and put his forhead against hers. A slightly amused and befuddled look on his face at her words, "Why is that?" he asked. It mustn't be a bad thing if she was giggling over it... still he was curious.

Love shone warm from smiling green eyes over the lingering sadness. She giggled again at the look on his face though her focus was Edward's golden eyes. Lily still shook lightly, and seemed to be nearly holding herself still through their pressed foreheads. "Not sure. I think maybe relief? And... being with you."

The reply caused his ears to turn forward. He could certainly understand her relief, if that meant she'd finally settled on what she really wanted. He was glad... for that meant she wouldn't change her mind again. And... being with him?
It was a wonderful feeling, being in love. Like... being on a natural high or something. It was a feeling Edward had never really experienced before Lilianna came along. He felt warm all over.
"Let's go somewhere" he then said all of a sudden, pulling his head back while a mischevious grin spread across his face. "Lets travel.. see the world, have an adventure. I'm sure Setsumi would mind you coming along on the trip she'd planned." After all.. Edward had already said he would go... but now.. he wouldn't go without Lilianna.

Lily wanted to bat playfully at that grin. Lifting her paw she nearly did, then froze as she blinked at what Edward was saying.
Leave the lands of the kitsu, that she had known all her life? Adventure? See the world? These were things that would have terrified the female, practically raised in a library as she was. Sometimes a garden. But Zell's training had toughened her physically. Ed's golden eyes...
She wanted to go.
Able to move again a slow smile spread across her crimson face. She would have to cancel her lessons, get a new communicator, stock up on potions and supplies, and...
By now she was beaming with the thought, eager, excited. "Yes! Lets!"
Of course she still had to tell her family her change. Could they handle that plus her going off adventuring?

"Yeah!" he exclaimed enthusiasticly at her desire to come along. The teen nearly grinning from ear to ear in his excitement as he pushed forward to nuzzle Lily and kiss her cheek.
"I'll go find Setsumi while you get ready. You can meet me infront of the HQ when you're done." Golden eyes were bright with joy and rekindled love for the lovely Kitsusagi infront of him. "Take your time" for he knew that she probably had quite a bit to do... such as inform her family and all that. There should be no need for her to rush.
It would be a good trip, he knew it. He'd been wanting to travel for some time now.. and he would be doing so with Lilianna beside him.

A soft sound much like a purr came from her petite body which was shaking once more as Lily returned the nuzzle with interest & happily breathed in his scent.
Her eyes widened suddenly. "We leave that soon?" Would her family think she was merely moving too fast again? Would she have enough time to figure out all she needed and gather it together?
She offered a shaky smile as he told her to take her time. Lily did not want to hold them back.
Wait... "Setsumi? We're going with Setsumi?" A small light flickered in her eyes, gaining warmth as realization dawned. He had been about to leave... yet now he was asking her to join them. White and gold tails swayed with happiness.
Not only that, but her family would be much more condoning of the venture if they were with others.

A reassuring smile was given to Lilianna at her hesitance before he nodded, "Setsumi and Ronan.. and if its too soon, we don't have to go." We as in... she and Edward. He wouldn't go if she didn't want to. They could go off by themselves at a later date. However, she didn't seem -that- much in doubt about going. It was rather short notice though, for her anyway.
A paw was lifted to stroke her cheek in a loving fashion, adoration showing in his eyes. He still couldn't believe that she was his. He wondered what his brother would think if he showed up and found he had a girlfriend already. Would be kinda weird... Ed hadn't shown much interest in girls in his past life, but that was mostly due to the fact that other things had gotten in the way and had been of more importance.

Ronan too? Aunt Ginny spoke well of the brightly colored male so surely her family would find that acceptable. And Daddy had met him too. So hopefully they would not worry quite as much, that she was perhaps just rushing into things. But... she wanted to go. Ever since she had begun training in the early morning before lessons and her body started to come alive Liliana had a flicker of thought that there might be things she was missing. Zell chatting casually about being a SeeD and traveling his world with his friends stirred something in her she had never known.
Her eyes lidded halfway as she leaned slightly into Ed's paw with a soft purr, unwilling to look away from the look in his golden eyes. "I'd like to go." Lily confirmed softly. Severus would probably frown on her wanting to stop lessons, see it as a lack of dedication, but she hoped he would understand. Or perhaps there was the off chance she could apparate back daily for them? But that did not seem like something able to be done while adventuring. "When do we leave?"
She never thought or dreamed she would come to this. Never gave a thought to romance or being in love beyond being happy for those in her family that found it and their happiness. But never for her. Lily had her potions, her Daddy, her family, and her friends...
Even through all the pain, grief, & sadness, Lily never would have believed she could be this happy.

"As soon as Setsumi and Ronan are ready... which should be soon. Setsumi went to speak with Terasu." And she should have been back by now, so he should probably start looking for her.
Edward's gaze locked with Lilianna's for a few brief moments. Seeing something in her eyes that he hadn't really noticed before. She looked happy, despite everything that happened... content even... and while he was somewhat surprised... it left him with a good feeling. He wanted to make her happy, and he hoped he would not let her down.
Unable to help himself, Edward leaned forward to kiss Lily. He didn't want to rush things anymore than she did... but well, how could he not want to kiss her? It was tentative at first, but soon grew in intensity, up until the point that Ed pulled back, giving her a slightly goofy grin. Eyes shining as he held her gaze for a moment more.
"I'll wait for you" he told her, before lowering his paw and then hopping off the bed. Making his way for the door to go and look for Setsumi.
He would always wait for her.

That soon? The question was clear in her eyes though she did not bother to ask it aloud. She had thought to have a little time to inform her family but at the same time... Lily realized how very close she had come to missing Edward completely. Perhaps forever.
It was with that thought in mind she received his kiss. Scared, hesitant, & softly eager shifting subtly to joy, longing, & intense love. Her green eyes were clear & sparkling by the time Ed pulled back and she giggled at the look on his face -suspecting hers was not far from it.
"Ill be back as soon as I can." Liliana watched him make his way to the door then took her wand in her left paw, and apparated home.
This should be interesting.
