"No, I couldn't stand by and watch his evil doing, but I have seen worse. Now, answer my question. Will going to an evil place, filled with hatred, death, and greed, be easy? I think I can manage to bypass the torturing and the evil doings that go on there, but go evil.... i think not." He couldn't imagine what he would see there. The blood and tourment that filled the land of Drathel. It was very peaceful and reassuring here, that he was protected, but he can't just sit in this city and just wonder what will happen. "I might get close enough to evil to get in the city, but I assure you that I will do nothing of that sort or evil stay evil. He thought of the consequences of if he was caught in the city, if they found out that he was a good person; not one of them.

"Easy? Not unless you have a local. They aren't all despots--that's reserved for those in high power--but as a general rule they're... Ammoral. They will always act in their best interests; nevermind what their companion wants or needs. So you have to make sure you're always in their best interest." She rested her chin on her knees, hugging them to her chest with scarred arms. "Not easy at all. But getting in isn't hard. They let Asellion Merchants in all the time; they need some of our goods, things they can't make, just like we import their rocks and steel. Getting in is easy. It's getting around and out that's hard. It's getting information that's hard." She was Drathellion, though servant class. She was local by their standards, and could easily revert back to being one of them. But she had enough bad memories to refuse to go back without an incentive of some kind, and Phoenix knew it had to be a flaming good one.

"Then ill get in that way. I will go with a merchant or pretend to be a merchant. Turning into one of them will be nearly impossible, but I will try my hardest to fit in. I will make as many Drathlen friends as I can, and work my way up the ranks. But if I did that I Would have to be in Drathlen for years. By then, everything will probably have taken place." He layed down on his back worrying if he could get everything before the time has come, an all out war. He hear the chirping of birds and the flutter of butterflys. Everything used to be that way, until that fearful night.

Nihilian left the inn and headed back towards the temples, until he saw a man and the woman he had belived to be Anyara earlier conversing by the temple. He got close enough to hear a bit of that conversation. By then, everything will probably have taken place."
"Or you could get in with an honest-to-goodness Drathelian." He rested his arm on Gene's shoulder. "And I just happen to know a good one." He grinned. "Only questions he'd ask would be why you're going and if you could wait a day."

She flicked a wary eye at him. She recognized him, but she wasn't prone to holding things against people when no damage was sustained. "They're hard to find," She said. "Honest to goodness Drathellions. I've rarely met one that could be called 'honest'." Rarely. Kennin was okay, but he was as slave as she had been. All of them were. She'd heard rumors about the Lord's son, but she avoided him whenever others weren't around. That didn't mean she trusted him.

Gene nearly was startled by the stranger. Once he heard that an honest and good Drathelian could help him, Gene chuckled at the idea and looked at the stranger. "Finding one of them is like finding a needle in the ocean." Gene thought of the idea. "What if he was right. What if there was an Drathelian that was nice, honest, and willing to let me sneak in," he thought to himself. Gene looked at the stranger with interest, "But where would I find the clothes to be like a Drathelian, and where would I stay while I am there?"

"Drathelian clothes are easy to come by." The man grinned. "See that smoke over there? That's where the townspeople are burning some. They have plenty more! Just ask, and they'll practically pay you to take an outfit or two." Nihilian frowned slightly, thinking on the question of lodgings. "If rumors are to be believed, a prominent Drathellian Lord has recently been murdered by one of his servants. I think we'll find his lodgings to our liking, wouldn't you agree, Anyara?" He grinned and began to walk towards the market. "Ah! I presume you can handle yourselves in a fight or two! Meet me back here, inside the temple, this evening. I'll get you there easy enough!"

"I'll to the fire later on, but I have to get to the temple and fix my ankle. This thing has been throbbing for thirty minutes now." Only now has Gene fixated on his ankle after thinking about how to get into Drathel. "But what do you mean that WE will find his home to our liking? I hope it doesnt mean that we three are entering. It's to dangerous for all three of us to go, if they catch ONE of us, my plan will be ruined." He looked at Anyara a frightful look. Gene didn't think she would last a day in the pressence of evil and smith. "I will come back at noon, Ill have to have some practice with my abilities to get past the evil. I am thankful for your help." Gene got up and limped to the temple, thinking how everything is going into place.

She wondered what he was talking about; that was one rumor she had not heard. She had clothes of her own, scrounged on her way out. And she could handle herself in a fight, she'd proven that; there were to many men who didn't care if a girl was scarred if she had anything like a figure. She had work to do yet, and preparations to make if she was going back to Drathel. She wished that her ex-lord was the subject of the rumor; the dead subject of the rumor. But what were the chances? Darn small. She vanished around the corner of the temple to the inner courtyard. She had work to do.

Nihilian strode through the market, picking up various goods and supplies. His thoughts turned to the road ahead and to the one who he had lost behind. He hurried back to the temple, these dark thoughts were no good in the dusk.

Anyara returned with the first beginings of sunset. She could be found in the Fire Shrine of the Temple until the sun set, and then she went to sit on the broad railing to the steps of the Temple, waiting for the other two to show up.

Nihilian strolled around outside the temple, waiting for Gene and Mizu. He had already spotted Anyara.

Gene exited the temple and his broken ankle was healed. He noticed it was close to noon so he had to hurry. Gene ran, heading for the smoke beyond the houses and shops. When he got there, there were three men, throwing the clothes away. As Gene entered, he smelled the evil burning, the ashes, the smoke. It burned his lungs, but he need something to wear.
"Um, hello sirs. I was wondering if I can have a Drathel outfit? I need one fast." Gene said, nervous.
"S-sure you c-can. Just p-pay us and we will g-give you some. They don't cos-st much." the man slurred.
Gene knew they were drunk. He didn't have any more so what a better way by learning evil is by stealing. "Sure ill pay, but I only have this." Gene walked closer to the stranger and took out a powder from his pocket; luckily the other two were sleeping. Gene blew the power into the man's face, causing temporary blindness. As the man was tipping and turning, Gene snatched an outfit from various boxes and ran off, here the distant sounds of curses and screams.
As noon was approaching, Gene hurried to the temple, keeping the clothes tight in his hands. Gene reared the city corner and saw Anyara and Nihilian standing infront of the temple. "Sorry I am late, but the healing took longer than I expected. And so did the getting of the clothes."

"Don't worry. We're still waiting for one to arrive." He sat down on the steps. "The stars are beautiful, eh?"

Mizu hurried down the streets, blue hair flowing behind her, anxiety on her face. Her black boots made muffled taps on the stone of the road as she ran along. The moon lighted her way as it bloomed over the temple she hurried to. The stars were at her back as she hurried up the dark street.
In the glow of the moon's light Mizu saw three shapes. One of the man she'd met earlier, and two new ones. A woman and another man. Mizu picked up her pace.
