Gene stood there as all the three talked about their business. After a while of this "arguing," Gene had to step in. "What is evil in my mind is true evil. On my mind, I only focus on the optimistic things, the positive things. Everything opposite of that is not what should be lurking. True evil is the darkness one preforms or acts. I have common sense, so I may weed out true evil to the imaginary evil." He turned away from Mizu and turned to Nihilian.
"As for you, defeating a great god is impossible for a commoner like you. I would like to see you defeat the guards that stand by him every second of the day." Gene had a questionable expression on his face. "What makes you think that you are the only one who can defeat a god, one that un-imaginable power. You will need more than yourself, like maybe an army."
"I believe what you are saying," he said in a clam tone as he turned to Anyara. "Everything is easier said then done. There will be wars, heroes, and bloodshed. But there has to be one outcome in all of them we are hoping for, for evil to fall and for goodness to prevail." Gene didn't like what he was hearing, but it was the truth. "Standing here arguing of what we can or cannot do is just wasting the time for people who can't afford it."

"Call me commoner all you like. I've got closer bloodties to Drathel than most. I've done my share of killing. I'll get by. And so will Karma. His blood's the key. And I'm ready to leave as soon as everyone else is." He gestured to the cart of goods behind him. "We've got enough room for one to sleep in at a time. Two can fit if they're sitting. It'd best be the girls, to start the journey riding. We can pull the cart easy enough." He spat on the ground. "That's what I think of heroes."

"I call you that because that is what kind of spirit I see in you. Blood may not be enough to destory such a powerful man, not even if you killed a whole city. I am impressed that you believe in yourself, but dont get to far with your ego. " Gene looked at the girls and then looked back. "Us pusing the cart will get us where we are going faster. The girls will help with the supplies, but we will do most of the main things." Gene watched as he spit on the ground. "And if it wasn't for heroes, we would be nothing," Gene murmured as he walked to the cart.

" I am very interested in this journey you are planning. If you don't mind having one more person in your group, I might even be of help. I might be of some financial support..." he said casually patting his pocket, then looked at the cart for a second "... and I even offer myself to pull the cart."

"The kind of spirit you see in me? What am I now, possessed? And it's his blood I want, not him." He looked over at the new arrival. "Thank you." He turned back to Gene. "Let's pull and let the women sit in the cart? Wish I had an idea like that, Mr. Hero!"

Anyara waited as they argued, and argued, and argued, wearing her granite patience to a film of dust. Finally, her face twitched and she couldn’t stop herself from standing, head lifted just a bit to imply a greater height than her elevated steps permitted, and snapping, “Enough! If you do not cease and desist this utter nonsense, I will do something that will make you regret it until we part ways, however soon that may be if you persist in these useless debates!” Green-brown eyes glittered dangerously in the pale moon and starlight. They were wasting time. “Now, Drathel is no ‘great god.’ He is a lesser deity, and may be slain, if Legend is to be believed, and in things spiritual, I have never known the Priests of the Temple to be wrong. Through them I have learned that all gods have a favored mortal, one whom they prefer above all others. To the Great Gods, the primal three, the death or murder of this chosen is nothing. Their affections may shift like the wind. Drathel, however, is in his core a human. His chosen’s death should be enough to force him to materialize, and that would be enough to drag him back into the mortal coils he abandoned. "And all men may die." “Whether there are heroes or no, is not of our concern; our success or failure is. Common or not is not our concern, such trivial matters should be beneath us, if we are taking on merchant guise. We have set plans in motion, how they were discovered, by anyone, I do not know, nor do I much care.” She looked down her nose at them, arms crossed. “Now if all of that is quite sorted out, why did none of you bright young geniuses think to bring a horse or mule?” There was a hint of a taunt in her voice. “But nevermind that, as you did not, and since it is such a fuss, be glad that I took the liberty of getting a horse this afternoon. She should be quite able to handle a cart, and,” She smiled mockingly, “The Temple was also kind enough to provide mounts for the rest of you, if you’re so inclined to ride. Now! Does that settle everything?” One more word of argument over Drathel, ego, or the ladies being to lily-like to work—not that she was going to disabuse them of the thought—and she would do something worse than snap at them. Anyara could put up with many things, but this was wasting time and moonlight on what was, apparently, stupidity.

Gene was suprised when Anyara snapped. She seemed so calm, but that outburst was like an earthquake; he even trembled in himself. After that long outburst, Gene nervously chuckled, "She is right, we didn't bring a horse with us. But in our defense we didn't devise the cart plan until now." He realized that Gene and Nihilian were into their arguing that they were diverted from their actual quest. He took a quick glance at Nihilian, Anyara, and Mizu, watching them, "I hope everyone is ready," Gene focused on Mizu and Anyara, "You two please get into the cart," then Gene turned to Nihilian and to the stranger, "we will hook up the horse and push the cart."

"We'll let one of the horses pull. You can ride." "Let's go! Drathel's not playing tiddly winks!"

"I will ride in no wagon. I walk or I ride." Mizu piped in, a wary eye on the new appearance and another on the babbling group. She held her head proudly in a dignified manner. "I'm no delicate female who can't care for herself." She said a bit hautily. She hated to be thought of as a female who needed pampering.
"I have my own means of getting around thank you." Mizu held up a hand and called a small globe of water to it, lighting with help from the energy of the moon. She gave a soft whistle. From farther down the street came the steady clop of a horses hoves. As soon as the horse came near Mizu put out her globe of light and went to greet her mare. The horse whinnied and tossed up her head in the same prideful manner of Mizu herself.
The horse's was about a head taller then Mizu but they seemed a perfect pair. The dark bay was a sleek brown, fading to black in the mane and tail and the hoofs. Her brown eyes were lit with the same light the Mizu's red eyes were. A white strip ran down her muzzle. "This is Hoshi." Mizu smiled and pulled herself to sit up in the saddle of the tall horse. "We'll need a horse to switch out now and then, won't we?" "Oh, and Anyara, if you'd rather ride, she can carry both of us." Mizu extended her hand down.

"Well, I see that everyone is going to ride, so we will tie a couple wagon ropes to the horses, unless you want one horse to pull and the others ride. As for me, I think ill ride too." Gene kneeled down and put his ear to mother nature. He whispered into the ground, "Mother, call upon thorn to help me on my journey," and a gust of wind made a whistleing sound.
A sound of hoofs were closing in, connecting with the earth. A light brown horse, with a white mane, stopped next to Gene. He climbed on and held his mane. "I wasn't going to call this horse, but as we need as many as we can get, why not?" Thorn carried gene next to the wagon, and Gene took or wagon ropes and tied it to the saddle.

Anyara looked at Nihilian. "Will you be needing a horse? And why did no one do that when the issue first came up?" She rolled her eyes and turned on her heel, scarecly pausing for an answer to her first question before the door shut behind her. A few minutes later she arrived around the side of the Temple, the proper number of mounts following behind her. They were all beautiful creatures, examples of their kind that one was more prone to expect to see as a statue than a living beast. One wore no saddle, but a harness instead. She tossed the gelding's lead reign to Gene. "Don't make your poor beast carry you, and draw the wagon. I said I had horses, use one of them." The mild mannered pale brown horse walked calmly into place and waited. Anyara held the reins of the remaing steeds and eyed the wagon with distaste. "I would rather not sit in it, but I think I would appear less of a threat than if I were to ride."

"Thank you for letting me use one of your horses." Ranpu said to Anyara "They are very fine creatures, indeed" one dark colored horse had come close to him. He put his hand over the horse's head and turned his head back to Anyara "Does this one have a name?" he asked, and then turned back to look at the horse, waiting for an answer.

"I'll walk. I rely on my own strength to reach the Dawn." He hitched some of the horses to the cart and began walking in the direction of the city gates.

"Thank the Temple; the High Priest lent them to me." The pale gelding snorted. "He's called Charger, as he was once a Knight's Charger. The black one is Nightmare, and the chesnut mare is Flameheart. The blueish one is Stormcloud." She smiled. "They insisted I take extras." She tied them into a string, removing the tack and tucking it into a free spot. She fixed it to the wagon and shook out her clothes. Anyara, unlike Mizu, looked the part of a merchant hand. She was dressed to work, and looked rather timid now that she was trying.
