My uncle was involved in the emo/punk scene in his youth. And he's turned me on to a lot of bands I wouldn't have otherwise heard of.
He mentioned that one of his favorite albums was For Your Own Special Sweetheart by Jawbox.
And I have to agree, it is a brilliant, fantastic album.

Also, Mission of Burma (I found out about them on my own :p) is excellent. But that's another topic, for another time. Their guitarist is offering guitar lessons
