I have a homebrew race that I made for a D&D world that my friend is making. I posted it in the create a monster thread, but no one gave me feedback on it, so now I'm gonna ask for assistance here. The main post in that thread is for the monster version, not PC. I made two sample PCs on the 4th or so page, don't remember.

I like the twin thing thats really cool to me and it leave open the option for a 2 character. or an devistating NPC that would throw the party for a loop!!!! ooooo plot twist!!! can i use? PM me titled DND races.

Do they have Nekojin in the DnD world?
How exactly do you create a character with a prestige class? Do you do the basic class and then just add the feats of the prestige class after? Do you add the level of the presitige class once you get to a certain level of the basic class? Do you level simueltaneously starting at level one?
Is there a book that details the various aspects of the actual world of DnD? Or do DMs just make it up as they go along? Or do you have to create your own world for players to rp in and just use the DnD system and creatures?
Which character concept/class has the least math involved?
I'm sure I have more questions ... but as of yet ... I think that's it ...

I know this is a stupid question but what exactly do i have to roll to cast magic as a wizards. I ask because the people I played with before had a rule on having to roll for accuracy of the spell, and im looking through the PHB and ain't finding anything like that.

Blade-
I just looked through the Player's Handbook and the DM's Guide and other than Concentration Checks (If you are hit or distracted while casting a spell DC 10+ damage taken+ level of spell) there isn't anything I can find. So it could change depending on House Rules.
I looked in the 3.5 Edition Books.

So your saying there is nothing for me to roll except maybe damage? or a concentration check? does that mean that all spell automatically hit and work?

You also have to factor in your armor's arcane spell % chance failure.

One does not have to roll to /cast/ spell, though some spells may require an attack roll, notably rays, acid arrow, and others, I am sure, though that is in the spell description for the spell.
In the game you played, it was most likely a houserule.

You have to roll, match the AC and then check damage, most of the time like a regular attack, there are a few exceptions though, such as magic missile, which NEVER misses. the only time that this is varied is for a summoning spell or when you are hit.
