To introduce myself, my name is Daine. I run this guild. I have been on Gaia since 2005 and convinced my bf to join. He did and our relationship grew from there, both online and in person. We were married on Gaia right before our 1 year anniversary in real life.
I have studied human growth and development as well as sexuality, psychology and other boring stuff that is totally impertinent here. I love to dabble, so I know a bit about a lot of things and a lot about a bit of things. I am an avid reader and wordsmith. Other than that, you'll have to get to know me to learn more.
I am older than you might think, but younger than you sound. I hate posting my age straight out and a mystery is always so much more fun.

i am Darien... Just call me Dar... i don't like to post my real name, the confusion is more entertaining i guess. no i am a girl, the name is of the main character in the series of books i am writing and i swear if i ever see it anywhere else i will have to hunt someone down... or win lots'a money in a lawsuite! and btw... i have norrible grammer and moderatly bad spellling.

i love to read, i just finished three books, one on Carl Jung, one on the Picts, and one on meditation. i will read just about anything, mostly things that other people recomend because i like to knwo what others like and why. i also have a vast intrest in philosphy and am almost done with Plato's Republic.

i love to write as well, and have been working on a series of 6-7 books for about three years now.

i will try to give my best opinion to anyone that asks. and try to hold as little bias as possible. Oh and i'm 21.

Hey there, My name for here is Crow (I don't like to post my real name online), I'm 20, and an illustration major into my third year. I have a boyfriend of two years whom I plan to move in with and marry once I have my BFA, and a cat named Freddy, who I adopted about a month ago. I also have a sister age 15 and a couple dogs with my parents and stepparents.
Liberal by nature (it's got to be a college thing) I have a deeply cynical side, but I remain hopeful. I'm not nearly as focused on the future as I am the past, because the past is where we're going, what made us, and what will always unconcoiusly shape us. So to know where we are and where we're going, we need to know what happened.

Hey folks, I'm Jess. I'm 20, live in California, and I'm a business major. I work for a major insurance company and live with my fiancee.

While I major in business, I have also majored in nursing and English. At one point I minored in Spanish. I have an extensive background of human anatomy, physiology, psychology, medical nutrition, and human biology classes.

I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I love my family deeply- all of them. We're like a TV family (kind of like Full House, without all the hugging.) I have a little sister who's 12 (smartest kid in the world, IMO) an older sister who's 25 (and FINALLY graduating college this semester) and a punk-a** brother who's 17 and wants to go into the military.

I do my best to understand every situation. If I think I cannot relate enough to a Life question asked, I will not respond. I feel I should be at least somewhat experienced in a subject to give advice on it.

I'm going to put this out there right now- I am blunt. I sugar-coat nothing. Sometimes people think I'm being rude, but to me I'm just giving what I think is the straight-a** truth. However, if I offend you, I do apologize.

So my name is Sherry but I tend to just go by Nightingale online. I live in Canada eh. I`m turning 20 in December and I`m majoring in psych in my second year of university. I`m hoping to eventually become a psychologist but we`ll see how I feel after my bachelors degree.

I love psychoanalyzing people. It`s one of my passions and the reason I want to become a psychologist. It sort of makes my friends paranoid sometimes and one of them gets angry at me.

I love using my insight to help other people. I`ve been through a lot and am thoroughly messed up for it but I find strength in that I could help prevent or try and advise someone else through what I went through.

I'm Ari and I am 24. I'm a mommy to a beautiful 9 month old named Arianna. I also have a cat named Jezebel.

Currently I am staying home and raising Arianna. I used to be really into drawing and anime but I've had no time/energy for anything. I also used to write and do lame web design.

Oh, wilderness.magic? Have you ever read any of the Immortals books by Tamora Pierce? The main character girl is named Daine. (I love those books! But I never could figure out how to say her name. I also have a friend who went to a writing conference and has met the author. I gotta ask her. smile )



IN RESPONSE: Yeah, Ari, I have read them, which is where I pulled the name from. RP character of mine that I've developed based off of her books...which I ADORE. Not many people have read the books though, so not many people know the reference. And I pronounce it "Diane", just spelled uniquely. I think I'm wrong, but I don't really want to know. I like it.

Just call me DC, I've seen too much internet detectivery in my time to give out my name. I'm 23, a psych major/CJ minor, and I'm your typical uber-nerd. I play Magic, all kinds of RPGs, WoW (serious raider), and blackjack. I wander the vast expanses of various internet forums, posting whatever I feel like. I help those who want to be helped and are willing to be helped in the most blunt of terms. I've been compared to Dr. House a lot, especially when I went a few days without shaving and broke my foot, thus needing a cane to walk. (sidenote: I set the bone back in place myself and still managed to walk across campus to see my friends later that day.)

I haven't got a job right now because the job market up here blows. BLOWS. What happens to a mining city when the mines run dry? You get my city.

Hmm... what to say? Well I'm 22, I did a university course to do with physical activity, fitness, health etc.

I heart karate. It would be my whole life if it wasn't for having to work.

I am a dreamer, more in the way of there is so much that I want to do with my life, but I would need at least 10 life times to fulfill it all. There is so much that I want to learn about and so much that I want to experience that I don't possibly have time to doit all.

I enjoy anything that has to do with sport, exercise and the outdoors.

I'm also the owner of the Body Mind and Spirit Guild which is designed to help people with their health and fitness. It's something that I am really interested in and love to help people with where I can.
