The 4th Division, home to the healers and a hospital to the wounded. This division is under command of Maigo Kokoro ( Hey that's me! <^^> ) who is the head captain and Isane Kotetsu who is the Lieutenant. Whatever needs healing, bandaging, soothing, or in need for a slight stress relief, this is the place to go to. Severely wounded people go first, however, since it would be a shame if someone actually died here. Don't worry, you're welcomed with open arms!
Now this place, with a comforting atmosphere to it, has bedrooms for those who are in need of rest along with a cafeteria for those in hunger AND it has a spa for people who are in need of a stress reliever! Sure one section looks like a hospital, but that's what this place is anyway, along with any equipment needed to tend the wounded and stored cures.
So... who needs to be healed?

Through the freshly remodeled gates of the Soul Society's 4th Division Headquarters came the Lieutenant of the 1st Division almost before the paint had time to dry. Given the urgency of the events taking place around the world however, the vice-captain hoped they wouldn't mind postponing the celebration a little longer. Wandering the halls and asking directions to the current location of the 4th's Captain and Vice-Captain, Shyuuhei Hisagi came at last to the healing duo he had been sent to find. Dropping to one knee, he regarded the newly christened captain with a steady gaze.
"Kokoro-taichou, I've an urgent message from Ukitake-soutaichou in the 1st Division," he explained, pointedly focusing his eyes on the captain of the 4th. "May I continue?"

Maigo looked at him, feeling a little awkward by the formalities then smiled. She has yet to be in the suitable uniform of a captain...
"Yes, of course!" the hanyou spoke.

Waiting for a response, Shyuuhei chanced a quick glance at the vice-captain of the 4th Division, his lips quirking only momentarily before reschooling themselves into their usual, refined look. Nodding simply at the words of the newest captain, the long-reigning lieutenant parted his lips to inform Maigo of her first official duties as a captain in the 13 Protection Squads.
"Fighting has erupted in Meribia and in the surrounding area on the Kerwon Continent. The Empire forces are far too great for the Meribian Guard to handle alone, so we've dispatched several teams to reinforce their defenses," the scarred shinigami explained carefully, studying her response behind his coolf facade. "Ukitake-soutaichou requests that you prepare several relief squads to be dispatched to Meribia at your earliest convenience. Given that we are dealing with an attack from Ghaleon's Espada, we anticipate the losses and damages to be at a high number, so skilled healers will be in great demand.'
'I shall have a Senkai Gate prepared just outside your division when you have your teams ready," Shyuuhei finished with a slight bow, before getting to his feet once more. "I will then lead them through the Gate to Meribia, and shall claim full responsibility for their protection and safe return." At that the 1st Division Vice-Captain gave another small bow and waited to be dismissed, trying hard to avoid the look that he knew Maigo's lieutenant was sure to be giving him. He was well aware how she felt, after all, but orders were orders, and in order to ensure the least possible bloodshed he would do whatever he could.

Maigo sighed softly then rubbed the side of her head, but soon she smiled again then nodded. "Understood, I'll go on ahead and send some recruits for you and those who are fighting at Meribia."
She sighed again. "Honestly, Ghaleon has gotten bolder on this and more risks are going to happen, I'm predicting. I thank you for the message, truly." she bowed her head slightly dismissing him while Isane crossed her arms as she stared at the man before the two.

Shyuuhei could only nod in agreement with the hanyou captain's assessment of the Magic Emperor's advances into Resistance territory, and thank her formally for her willingness to assist those in need. No doubt she was just as warm-hearted as the rumors suggested. He was glad that Isane and the 4th could work with someone like that, as he was thankful for his own placement under Commander-General Ukitake.
"Arigatou, Kokoro-taichou," Hisagi bowed again, casting a final glance at her vice-captain. His brown eyes wavered slightly, and for a moment he regretted sparing her that look. It was hard enough leaving on such a dangerous mission knowing how she would worry for him, but seeing that look on her face made him feel guilty as well. Lowering his eyes, he mouthed the words, 'I'm sorry' before turning and making his exit to wait by the front gate of the 4th Division.
Now he had only to wait, and then plunge headfirst into the conflict.

The moment he left, the hanyou let out a breath then sulked in her seat. No doubt was she relieved that the formalities weren't too much for her, but then an ear twitched and she started to smile.
"Isane.." she said, her eyes closed as her voice lingered.
"Um...yes, ma'am?" Isane said, looking at her captain.
"Don't think I missed it." Maigo got herself out of her seat then clapped her hands. "Okay! I'm going to need the healers ready. Isane, please assist me..?" She asked nervously, still trying to get use to this. Isane had a slight of a blush on her face, but it faded and then she smiled and bowed her head.
"Of course."

'Isane's gonna chew my a** for this,' Shyuuhei thought with a rueful grin as he stepped out into the path before the 4th Division Gates to open the Senkai Gate to Meribia. He knew he should have talked to her about his volunteering for this mission beforehand, but honestly, nothing she said could have changed his mind. When people were in need and dying, Hisagi felt it his duty to try and protect them. It was a duty he held as a member of the Seireitei, and perhaps, it was in this he might have found his means to atone for the incident at the Academy long ago. That night still haunted his dreams, screams of the devoured echoing dully in his ears as he failed to save them. No, speaking with Isane would have only made him hesitate and feel guilty for leaving her behind...best not to carry such emotional baggage into such a dangerous fight. Still, he wished he might have had a chance to say goodbye...
'Hisagi-fukutaichou!' the voice of a 1st Division messenger came, hurried as his shunpo landed him before the gate being opened at the 4th Division. Next to the gate stood the man he had been searching for, the Lieutenant to the Commander-General Ukitake, Shyuuhei Hisagi. Wearing his usual contemplative expression, Hisagi nodded for the messenger to continue and betrayed nothing of his previous thoughts. 'Meribia is being overrun as we speak! Akiyama-taichou and Zaggart-taichou are currently engaged with two of the enemy arrancar, but two Espada have advanced unchecked into the city! Ishida-taichou gone ahead to engage them with a platoon of archers from the 8th Division, but against two Espada he may be outmatched! Ukitake-taichou requests that you take the healers and depart as soon as possible for the White Knight's stronghold, sir.'
The scarred vice-captain's expression grew grim as he realized the depth of the Port City's plight. They would need to depart immediately and find shelter for the healers until the battle's end first thing. Then he would go out on his own to lead the reinforcement charge against Ghaleon's Espada and aid the captains fighting in his stead. The sandal on his foot tapped impatiently on the stone walk beneath them, almost willing the new captain to hurry in her chores. Not that he bore her any ill will or thought her incompetent, but rather that he was simply anxious to go aid those in need. His stomach was twisting in anticipation...yet as focused as he was on the task at hand, he couldn't repress the image of Isane's face...her disappointment intermingled with an unspoken nervousness...as he delivered unto Maigo the word of his inevitable departure.
Torn between devotion and duty, Shyuuhei waited quietly as the Senkai Gate fully prepared itself and the 4th Division organized its squads for the mission.

"You looked troubled," Maigo said to him, suddenly by his side and leaning forward with curiosity. Her healers were by her side along with Isane, all standing straight with respect. Maigo smiled to him then stood straight as well, taking a step back then directed her head to her healers.
"Here they are! Ready to give need to you all," she said with some pride, even though she's only been here for such a short time. "I honestly wished that I could come with you as well, but that would only take more risks, ne?" Maigo then looked at her team.
"Please take care of everyone," she said.
"Yes Ma'am!" the team said in a union, bowing their heads. Maigo then went to Isnae then smiled. Isnae blinked then looked at Shyuuhei. It was the hanyou's idea for bringing her out here in the first place.
"Goodbye," she said, as straight as she could. "And good luck."
Maigo grinned then did one clap of her hands. "Alright, you must depart quickly!" she gave a bow to her head. "Take care."

"Right," Shyuuhei bowed at Maigo's sudden appearance, then took a military stance as she delivered her orders and spoke her mind about the mission to Meribia. He had suspected she'd be interested in going, but as the Commander-General had told him it was unwise for her to venture outside of the Seireitei with the Magic Emperor hunting her down. So it was a relief when he didn't have to tell her he had been specifically ordered to ensure she did not accompany her healers to the Port City. He relaxed a little when Maigo turned and began to walk away, but was surprised to see Isane step out from behind the rank and file healers to bid him goodbye and wish him luck.
"Uh...yeah," he muttered a bit dumbly, his tan cheeks growing a little flushed at the open (albeit small) display of affection she had shown him in front of her healers. When he had recovered, however, he stepped forward and graced the 4th Division's Lieutenant with as deep a bow as he could, before rising to catch her eyes in a meaningful stare. "Thank you...Isane," he whispered just loud enough for her to hear, before turning back to Captain Kokoro and her healers.
"Thank you, Kokoro-taichou. I will not let you down," he pledged seriously, before turning to the rest of the group. "Come on then, there's a city out there that needs you. Let's bring justice back to Meribia," the scarred man encouraged in as strong a voice as he could muster, before opening the Senkai Gate and stepping into the portal lead by the Hell Butterflies. The healers followed soon after, and when the last had come and gone the gate closed behind him, leaving the rest of the 4th behind (one in particular) to wait for his return.

Maigo saw the gates close then looked away, taking a few steps forward before stopping herself then smiled.
"He'll be back, I'm certain of it." she said before going back to her seat. Isane looked over to her then smiled.
"Yeah, I know." She then grinned a little. "Now about that uniform, Kokoro-taichou--"
Maigo looked over at her suddenly. "I'm telling you it was too big! I couldn't stop tripping..."

Maigo, although she was worried, had a smile on her face. It was calm but there some odd brightness to her as she fixed the beds for the patients she might get. Humming to herself a tune, she couldn't help but sway as she held a pillow. One could say that it was calming.
"Here in my heart, memories linger..." she sang. "I hold them sacred. Safe from all others... Angel's Tale."

"Knock, knock!" a smooth, friendly voice came from the doorway of the hospital room occupied by both Isane and Maigo. It was an unfamiliar voice, but one which held not a hint of malice. Instead, his lips were curled in an honest smile and he waved emphatically at the two young healers. Waiting for the duo to notice him, he then chuckled a little in spite of himself.
"Hi there! I heard some singing back here, so I thought I'd come check it out," the young man explained, his gold eyes reflecting his politely repressed amusement. As he stepped further into view, his outfit began to come into the light and view. His top was a forest green vest fastened by large, brown buckles and straps over a sleeveless, light green shirt that came down to his waistline. There his green, slightly baggy, uniform pants took over and reached down to his knees. There his boots took over, a metal protector that stretched up over his knees and extended down into a brown leather that traveled down his shin to the bottom of his feet.
His most prominent features beyond his green attire, however, were an almost claymore-style sword he carried in a large strap at his hip and a cat tail-like ponytail that went halfway down his back before curling over itself at the end. The tail was much longer than the rest of his brown mop of hair, however, which hung down shaggy just past his ears. He was definitely an unimposing figure, and he stood still in the entrance as if waiting to be invited to enter.
"My name's Silabus," he introduced himself cordially, scratching the back of his head in a nervous gesture. "I needed to speak with a healer, and the people here told me this was the best place to go. Are either of you Captain Kokoro?"

Maigo raised up her hand like a kid in a class room. It would have probably taken him off guard since she, a half demon, was a healer while her companion Isane was properly dressed in uniform and looked pretty proper.
"I'm the one you're looking for," Maigo said with a friendly and welcoming voice, her tail swaying behind her.

"Really?! That's great!" Silabus smiled, stepping into the room with a respectful bow before glancing at the two, seemingly oblivious to their contradictory state of dress. He acknowledged Isane with a smile of her own, before returning his attention to the young hanyou before him. The young man couldn't help but chuckle a little in spite of himself, his golden eyes shining a little with awe.
"You're even prettier than they told me!" he blurted out suddenly, his honesty blatant on his innocent expression. It was a casual comment, and he probably wasn't even aware of the implications she might have drawn from it. Even so, he scratched his neck again and motioned to her with his gloved hand. "Say, I have a friend out in the First District of Rukongai who got hurt and is in need of a healer, but they wouldn't let him through the Gate. Do you think you could come out to him? I know it's asking a lot, but I know I could make it up to you! Please, Miss Kokoro?"
