Okay, so yeah, another moe fighter. I just ordered it and I have to say, since it hit 7th in sales the month it came out I Japan I'm pretty excited.
And for those of us that didn't know, Arcana Heart is from the team (known as Examu now, formerly known as Yuki Enterprise) that was developing Samurai Spirits for SNK Playmore, meaning that yes, they have experience.
No, no, the fact that it's a more all-girl fighter from an experienced team is not what makes this game interesting... it's more like a bonus. The interesting part is that you choose a character, and the after that, choose an elemental alignment which determines which special moves you have. Creative no? Well, maybe not, but it at least is a little more open to customization than other fighters in that you can choose a girl that you're good with in base attacks and then find the right element to match her in your fighting style.
Oh, it also turns out Atlus will be releasing a U.S. version of Arcana Heart for about $30.
