[ The Laboratory ]
The G Corp Laboratory, a dastardly place filled with chemicals, samples, computers, caged experiments and shady dealings. What more would one expect from the largest biogenetics development corporation on the small planet of Gaia?
The laboratories of G Corp have had a less than reputable history, with outbreaks, chaos and explosions at every turn but once again the labs have risen from the ashes to allow the employees of the Corp to continue with their dreadfully important work. The development of viral contagions, cures, antibodies, bio-weapons, defense equipment and why? For the continued protection of Gaia from whatever may threaten it. Whether it is aliens or zombies or vampires GCorp will always be there- the underground line of defence so shrouded in utter mystery that nobody will ever know all of its secrets.
Its employees are kept quiet by large cash salaries, a perfect cover story and most of all... pure fear. You see, while G Corp may strive for a perfect means of defense for Gaia they need to make their money as well- it doesn't all come from Johnny K. Gambino you know. No. It comes from the sales of defunct bio-weapons technology to lesser known continents in the world of Gaia. It comes from releasing small infections into the community, and then selling the cure for a profit. The shiny exterior portrayed by G Corp to many may have the community fooled but for its employees the truth is all too real.
[ Laboratory Details ]
This facility has always been known as the beta area. The secondary zone to the main area on Isle De Gambino. Many of the main viral cultures are created here and despite the fact it is a beta zone, the facility does more varied and diverse work than Alpha area on Isle De Gambino, which by many is considered to be Gambinos own personal labs who work on whatever research he wishes.
Beta Facility has now been relocated to the far reaching arctic northern areas of the Gaian planet for an obvious and basic reason- privacy. Unlike many other laboratories there are certain areas of this facility which reach above the ground but these areas are of no real importance to the work here and are discreet in their appearance- often appearing as nothing more than shelters or arctic research points. They are mainly placed there to facilitate the corporation and the employees. Areas which are located above ground are the watch towers and the bar and restaurant.
Deep within the bowels of the facility however lies this lab. On the 16th floor the lab takes up a vast amount of space to accomodate all the labtechs. It has been outfitted the best technology to help with the work and personal computer panels are located at regular intervals around the lab. A secluded zone to the end of the lab, closed off by a large heavy set metal cage allows test subjects and to be stored in here for the convenience of the staff.
[ Facility Navigation ]
You arrive at the main corridor leading to the laboratory. Heavy set steel doors beckon you, but you must realise this is not your only option here at G Corp. Casually you glance towards the monitor on the wall- the screen stutters into perfect clarity and with a simple touch it elegantly slides a selection of options across the blue hued screen. *Touch the option for G Corp Rules* *Touch the option for G Corp Resources* As you stand there you also hear a group of people chatting casually in the corridor about the new bar and lounge. *Go talk to the group* *Head straight for the bar* before making your decision the last thing you notice is a misplaced journal, you flick through a couple of pages. *Read the rest*

[ Brief History ]
From the offset G Corp has always had a main focal laboratory. The centre point of the Underground Test Facility. This is where the experiments take place. Where all the labtechs work throughout the day and night to complete their assignments. And most of all, this is where majority of the action takes place. But there have been many labs, too many to name. The information system in G Corp is frequently 'cleaned' up by the higher ranking labtechs working on orders from the man in charge. All that remains in the system is records of three laboratories- excluding this one.
Laboratory Alpha: Located underneath Isle De Gambino this laboratory was destroyed during the outbreak of the G-Virus at Johnny K. Gambinos Halloween Party in 2004. Almost all remnents of the original virus were destroyed during this explosion. Later it was discovered that this laboratory, the primary location, had been rebuilt underneath Gambinos mansion in order to develop a cure for vampirism. (Also known as: Primary Base, Head of Operation, The Core.)
Laboratory Beta: Beta lab is the current lab, located in the far reaching north ends of the Gaian planet on a desserted continent. Unlike most other facilities this one contains both over ground and under ground segments- though the overground areas are disguised as human resource research facilities. Beta lab has been in development and construction for several years but is finally complete.
Laboratory #007: A small facility located in a currently unnamed area of Gaia. This facilities records, despite being vague, detail a similar outbreak to that of the H2K4 Incident on Isle De Gambino. The facility and the incident were contained and clensed by the G Corp Security Force. Although the facility was small the outbreak spread to a neighbouring town and wiped out almost 80% of its populus. Media cover up was undertaken by a man known to the company as Agent 0.
Laboratory #016: A malfunction of this facilities security system allowed an unnamed test subject to escape. This creation, part mechanical, part Gaian, ravaged the facility for weeks before help arrived at the isolated area. The zone was carpet bombed with no hope of the creature surviving.

When the previous laboratory was first discovered after its destruction, all that remained from the battle between 075 and 027 was a body.... the classification of the files did not allow the knowledge of which one, however. It is also unknown to most what became of this body....
Deep in the lowest sections of the lab, a stasis chamber held the figure of a young man. Monitors declared that he was alive, though appearances suggested anything but. Unlike a normal stasis chamber, an odd substance ran among the liquid as well.... white, swirling, and mixing in and out of the body itself.
I... I still exist?

The tall and slender figure of a stylishly dressed man seemed to almost swirl down the corridor with perfect grace. A long white lab coat swaying in the wake of his quick stride and bouncing gently against his well polished black shoes- a single name tag attached firmly to his left breast with a barcode on it declared his identification number and clearance, 'Level 5 Clearance (Priority)' Hurrying along he smiled calmly to himself. It had been almost a year since he had taken leave from the corridors of G Corp for medical reasons- forced medical leave if he was honest about it. But it was worth it, what he had done in that year was yet to be disclosed to the higher ups in the corporation but it was sure to please them. No less, he had very important things to attend to, a birth of sorts, if you will permit the term. He had been called back in after the destruction of the previous lab and had taken up his post with almost childish glee. After sifting through the remnants of the previous facility his team had come across a body, that of a former labtech, and they had been able to 'salvage' him. The helicopter ride to the beta site, in the far reaching north end of the Gaian planet, had been stormy but Tao had relished every moment leading up his first steps into the new facility- right up to the point where he donned his familiar lab coat.
He reached his destination quicker than expected and with a vague bleeping noise his card access was cleared and the door swooshed open to reveal a man in a status chamber, a strange liquid swirling around his body.

Though missing a large portion of his clothing, including his rather tattered cloak, the mask remained on his figure.... his head movement, a slight turn to the opening door, could cue in that he was aware of his surroundings... or at least could hear something.
Who is that.... what are they going to do? And have they done it yet?

As I walked in, I noticed the beaming blinding light in my face from the "new" lights. I sat down at a lab station and opened a laptop, I typed for a while and looked around seeing if any of the fellow Labtechs were going to say hi to me.

Tao grinned wildly, the chamber had worked, they had managed to 'salvage' the labtech. Striding forward, almost in a hurried manner, his deep blue eyes gazed hard at the monitor- the pixel perfect, high resolution screen fed all sorts of reports and beeped all kinds of strange noises. Tao looked around, an array of labtechs were busying themselves taking samples and running tests. Taos eye, however, was caught by a labtech who he didn't recognise, "You..." He stepped forward and inspected the ID badge on the lab technician, "667, mind giving me a hand? We need to prep for rebirth..."
{Lask, you ready to pop out of status?}

(Ready as I'll ever be.)
Laska was now almost fully aware, though the machine had him in such a way that he was in a state of sub-conciousness.... he shouldn't have even been able to breathe, no sort of resiratory mask fitted onto the seemingly irremovable one he already donned. Instead, oxygen and supplies were sent directly into his body via tubes, thus his unique state of being, where most were simply passed out. More awake than he was initially, Laska began some sort of throe of movement, his hands twitching. The strange substance mixed in with the stasis liquid circled him more fervently.
Brought me... to return, or was I dead to start? Dev.... 027.. He must have died. Died and the lab was on top of him. But they found me, yes.... they found my body, or living body. Whatever they found... I'm brought, and here. I just want to be on the other side....

The subject seemed ready to be prepped for rebirth. The neural monitors were reading increased brain function and physically the subject was fine enough. Tao hoped everything had worked out as planned and that there were no nasty surprises waiting in the wings- the research for this project wasn't his own, and as a rule of thumb he preferred to work on his own merit but this time the orders given from the higher ups upon finding Lasks body were clear- the research files that were forward to Tao were to be used and this labtech was to be reintegrated into the group at the new facility using whatever means necessary.
Taos hand twitched over the ejection button warily. Crossing his fingers he pressed down and hoped for the best.

Upon the switch being pressed, the panels lit up.... maybe it was flashy, but it meant something at the very least. The fluid itself began to drain, leaving the strange substance that was in there with Laska to turn gaseous, and yet subsequently solidify and adhere to his body. Without the liquid to support him, he slumped against the walls of the tube until the last of the liquid was drained. A few moments later, the tubes ejected themselves, drew back, and the tube was pulled up to allow Laska to fall onto the floor, breathing heavily with the misty substance swarming over his body.
"Found.. me.... alive... why?"

Small trickles of water descending the slightly raised platform and dripped onto the ground. Tao let out a deep breath which he had not realized he had been holding from the moment the button was pushed. His eyes seemed to widen as he waited with baited on some more solid movement from the reborn labtech. Taking a step forward he knelt down, the bottom of his labcoat soaking up a light mizzle of water from the ground. Beneath his breath he muttered to himself, "It worked. This could be the key to a lot of future developments. You could be the key."
Edging closer to the labtech he spoke louder now, "Its okay, we found your body in the wreckage of the old laboratory. Do you understand?"
A brief pause and Tao shouted out to one of the lower labtechs, "GET THE MAN SOME PROPER CLOTHES DAMNNIT!"

The being managed to pull himself up into a standing position, though breathing heavily.
"These clothes are.... fine."
He shambled towards Tao, apparently not used to his legs yet, and the mist was grabbing at everything in sight to try and straighten himself out.
"Mother says... rest..."

"Mother?" Tao questioned. The thoughts that zipped hastily through his head at that moment were a reminder of the fear he fealt when something had gone wrong- but this time would be different. It was a new era, this time would be different he hoped. He fumbled in his pocket for a moment and drew out a small plastic casing with an almost minscule needle at the end- in the plastic casing was a luminous red liquid. "This will help you feel better. Its a pick me up- something of my own concoction." Tao directed the needle towards Lasks neck...
((By the way, Im not quite sure what to refer to you as during the RP- is Lask ok or would you prefer another name or something??)
