What We Know
* A group of over 100 Gaians was blocked around the same time on March 10, 2008
* No e-mail was issued regarding the reason for banning these Gaians
* All Gaians involved have stated that they did nothing against the TOS
* After contacting various mods, we were told to wait patiently for a resolution
* No obvious connection exists between all of the Gaians involved
* The mod team IS looking into this for us
* The mod team is keeping a running list of those blocked in this incident
* March 14th during Ask the Admin, our issue was brought up by a few martyrs and Lanzer told us the mass banning was a mistake and still being worked on.
* March 15th eaTaiaG gave us an even more detailed update in our main forum and gave us an expected un-banning time of mid next week or sooner!
* March 19th Some of the wrongfully banned users were unblocked! Unfortunately many of the March 10 Martyrs are still banned.
What We Can Do
If you were mysteriously blocked on March 10, 2008 and did not receive an e-mail explanation from Gaia:
* PM ONE moderator with your blocked username and let them know you believe you were wrongly blocked
* Be patient! sweatdrop

The moderator I asked said I was banned for "Botting in Games"
I have done no such thing and was banned on March 10
Did anyone else get a reason for being banned?
Or was I that person with a nice moderator?
The moderator was Futo Maki.
She was nice.

The mod I PM'ed said that they noticed it, everyone suddenly banned for botting, and they also don't believe everyone is guilty of botting.
It is a failure somewhere and they're working on it.
They also thought of it being suspicious to find out so many bannings happening at the same time for the same reason.
The mod promised to let me know if they got to something, they also asked to please not fill in a form in which you fight your banning as they are already looking into them and being overflooded with work.
The mods are doing their job. Can't blaim any of them, but they're being really nice and helpfull =3
Gaia on the other hand had better spent more time/money on a better system instead of a new movie monday and a VJ and theatre stare

There may have been some bans placed that shouldn't have been and if it's found that there were then it's not difficult to null the bans for those accounts. We've been trying to respond to everyone but when we get hundreds of PMs in our inboxes all asking the same thing it becomes difficult and tedious to figure out who we've responded to and who we haven't.

I explained everything I was doing to Futo Maki this is what Futo Maki said to me. the ban reason associated with your account may not be proper. Plase give the staff some time to sort things out. I'll add your name to their list. and Aeony told my friend sarah to keep me calm down and tell me to relax and just to wait it out.

As for myself I talked to maggie iratus, which she explain to me that they are looking in to situation and that I should be patient. She was really nice to talk to and I didn't get run around with my question. mrgreen

Tae gave us an estimated fix date of Wednesday this week, which is tomorrow. I'd say we can start being impatient again (within reason of course) on Thursday if we're still not unbanned by then wink
